    wxChaos

    wxChaos

    An interactive fractal explorer

wxChaos is an open-source application for exploring fractals through direct interaction. Move through familiar sets, follow the orbit behind a point, compare rendering methods, open a Julia preview, or examine the mathematics without leaving the application. It includes classic complex-plane fractals, chaotic maps, numerical systems, and vector constructions. The collection ranges from Mandelbrot and Julia sets to Newton basins, the Burning Ship, the Henon and Logistic maps, the double pendulum, Sierpinski constructions, and the Koch snowflake.

    Buddhabrot Max

    Buddhabrot Max

A Buddhabrot generator for large (>20000² px) renderings.

A escape time orbit fractal renderer written in C#. Consists of two separate programs, one focused on high resolution and high quality rendering ("Buddhabrot Max"), the other focused on realtime exploration / zooming ("Buddhabrot Mag"). Uses multithreading and hardware acceleration. Allows creating of huge renderings (if enough memory is available) and saving files with full 32 bit float dynamic range as OpenEXR files.
