This is the IP server component that is used with the free, open-source Linux Air Combat flight simulator client. The sponsors of Linux Air Combat ("LAC") have long made their server available online and free of charge. Many LINUX flight simulator enthusiasts are familiar with the resulting free services made available by the good people at AskMisterWizard.com, and the LAC online community is organized around that server. However, it is now possible for others to host a compatible LAC Server by compiling the source code from this project. Developers will want to use the well-known "Codeblocks" compiler tools for easy compiling. Users wishing to connect LAC with a server OTHER than the well-known one sponsored by AskMisterWizard.com will need to edit their ".LacConfig.txt" file to reference the IP address of their server host. OpenEFB is an Electronic FlightBag software for virtual pilots using FSX, FS2004 or X-Plane. It is meant to be used as a device for displaying charts, manuals and as a moving map, like an EFB in the real environment.

OpenEagle provides interfacing to Flightgear to create a synthetic view of the flight using a Garmin G5 EFIS, and other instruments to display the flight at 10hz. The system also includes tools to make and use browser based moving maps from the FAA sectional "tif" files free to download. OpenEagle replaces NAV, and FIX databases in Flightgear with current FAA data. FAA Special rules airspace such as Class B,C, and D, and MOA's et al are displayed in the synthetic view using translucent boundaries in the scene. It supports Saitek x52 and x52 Pro joysticks allowing to customize additional data pages on the Multi-Functional Display (MFD) with up to four configurable buttons. Additionally, it comes with an embedded realistic FMS capable of calculating expected enroute time (considering realistic climb/descend), required fuel to load, top of climb/ descend distance, time and waypoint. The FMS continuously monitors your position and leverages X-Plane voice to brief you regarding the flight plan status, position report and delays from scheduled and expected time. Even without a supported joystick, both the FMS and a virtual MFD are made available.

The F/A-XX is a conceptual aircraft being developed by Boeing. I am creating a model and the associated files to be used in FlightGear. This is not a 100% accurate, scale model. There is a very, very limited amount of information available on this jet, so I have used my imagination to fill in some of the details.

This software is a functional sample of a tool which allows retrieval off data from the FlightGear flight simulator into Matlab and evaluation of the position of the airplane with regards to the terrain and its surface characteristics which are used to determine a safe place for landing and plan a safe path for landing. This is an addon for the game IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, which adds a fictional version of the F-86 Sabre Jet fighter to this game, the F-86J. The -J has more powerful Orenda Engines and carries Sidewinder missiles as well as other additional ordnance.
