A videogame about the wonders of operating system concepts.
This game takes place in an operating system whose sole function is to simulate a virtual world full of creatures whose behaviors evolve over time. Each creature runs as a separate process. Operating system constructs like signals, files and network ports are represented by objects in this world, and their usage is exposed to running programs by their presence. psDooM is a process monitor and manager for *nix systems. It could be considered a graphical interface to the 'ps', 'renice', and 'kill' commands. psDooM is based on XDoom, which is based on id Software's 'Doom'.
