An automated price tracker that uses bright data
...Its React frontend gives users an interface for interacting with tracked items and collected pricing data. A Flask backend handles the application API and coordinates scraping operations. Playwright drives browser automation, while Bright Data’s Scraping Browser provides the remote browsing layer. The included implementation currently targets Amazon Canada but can be adapted to additional websites. A separate scheduler component can request new price checks at recurring intervals while the backend is running. Credentials are supplied through a local configuration file rather than being embedded directly into the scraping code. -
