Growlight facilitates management of all storage devices known to the Linux kernel, from hardware RAIDs to hybrid media to ramdisks to ZFS (indeed, Growlight was initially written to simplify ZFS on Linux). Gptgen is a tool to non-destructively convert hard disks partitioned in the common, "MSDOS-style" MBR scheme (including extended partitions) to use a GUID partition table (GPT).

Converts disks between case sensitive and case insensitive HFS without re formatting. Supports GPT and Apple Partition Schemes. Currently does not work for boot volume and only changes first HFS+ Partition found on drive.
