...If not running macOS, or you don't like Homebrew, you can use pip. On Ubuntu, pip will install to the current user's home directory rather than system-wide. Because of this, when installing pip on Ubuntu you will need to run pip install with the --system flag as well (on other platforms this is not needed). Synchronizes arbritary directories (on drives) outside the dropbox-directory with Dropbox, on the base of Include/Exclude/Include rules. Can also be used inside domains where the normal Dropbox sync is not allowed by the firewall. PyDropSync is tested on Win-XP and Win-7. -
