qrcp binds a web server to the address of your Wi-Fi network interface on a random port and creates a handler for it. The default handler serves the content and exits the program when the transfer is complete. When used to receive files, qrcp serves an upload page and handles the transfer. ...You probably need to allow the system to install applications from anywhere in the security settings. Docker images are available. They run the full GUI inside a virtual Xorg server (using Xvfb). A VNC server runs on TCP port 5900 of the container, just use a regular VNC client to access the interface. The password to access the VNC service is printed to the console when starting the container. -
