    FUSE filesystem over Google Drive

    FUSE filesystem over Google Drive

    FUSE filesystem over Google Drive

...Note that in order to reduce latency, the application will query the server and check for changes only every 60 seconds (configurable). So, if you make a change to your documents (server side), you won't see it immediately in the mounted filesystem.

    IPFS Kubo

    IPFS Kubo

    An IPFS implementation in Go

Kubo was the first IPFS implementation and is the most widely used one today. Implementing the Interplanetary Filesystem - the Web3 standard for content-addressing, interoperable with HTTP. Thus powered by IPLD's data models and the libp2p for network communication. Kubo is written in Go. IPFS is a global, versioned, peer-to-peer filesystem. It combines good ideas from previous systems such as Git, BitTorrent, Kademlia, SFS, and the Web. It is like a single BitTorrent swarm, exchanging git objects. ...

    etherdfs

an ethernet-based file system for DOS

EtherDFS is an 'installable filesystem' TSR for DOS. It maps a drive from a remote computer (typically Linux-based) to a local drive letter, using raw ethernet frames to communicate. For years, I was using LapLink to transfer files between my various "retro" computers. It works, yes, but it's also annoyingly slow and requires constant attention. One day I thought, "Wouldn't it be amazing if all my PCs could share a common network drive, similarly to how NFS operates in the *nix world?". ...

    FTP2MFS

    FTP2MFS

    Syncing FTP/HTTP/RSYNC into IPFS

Syncs folders into IPFS's mutable file system (the directory structure accessible through ipfs files). Despite the name, FTP2MFS is capable of reading from FTP, HTTP directory listings, rsyncd, and the local filesystem. Beware: ftp2mfs can be used to easily mirror several 100 GB in a few hours, and keep them in sync with upstream and on the local IPFS node. IPFS is not necessarily able to keep that much content available to the network from one node, see hyperprov for an explanation and a solution.
