    Dat

    Dat

Peer-to-peer sharing and live syncronization of files via command line

A distributed data community for the next generation Web. Technology built by community, financed responsibly, and given away for free to the public. The Dat Foundation is a small non-profit group that provides social and technical infrastructure for the consortium of projects and working groups. We believe information and communication technology should be transparently funded and operated. At the scale of the web, every decision can have a massive impact on our political systems and social well-being. Dat is governed openly through a series of working groups. Dat is a protocol for sharing data between computers. Dat’s strengths are that data is hosted and distributed by many computers on the network, that it can work offline or with poor connectivity, that the original uploader can add or modify data while keeping a full history and that it can handle large amounts of data.

    IPFS Cluster

    IPFS Cluster

    Pinset orchestration for IPFS

IPFS Cluster provides data orchestration across a swarm of IPFS daemons by allocating, replicating and tracking a global pinset distributed among multiple peers. IPFS has given the users the power of content-addressed storage. The permanent web requires, however, a data redundancy and availability solution that does not compromise on the distributed nature of the IPFS Network. IPFS Cluster is a distributed application that works as a sidecar to IPFS peers, maintaining a global cluster pinset and intelligently allocating its items to the IPFS peers. IPFS Cluster powers large IPFS storage services like nft.storage and web3.storage.

    Keybase client

Keybase Go library, client, service, OS X, iOS, Android, Electron

Keybase is secure messaging and file-sharing. We use public key cryptography to ensure your messages stay private. Even we can’t read your chats. Keybase works for families, roommates, clubs, and groups of friends, too. Keybase connects to public identities, too. You can connect with communities from Twitter, Reddit, and elsewhere. Don’t live dangerously when it comes to documents. Keybase can store your group’s photos, videos, and documents with end-to-end encryption. You can set a timer on your most sensitive messages. This distribution includes cryptographic software. The country in which you currently reside may have restrictions on the import, possession, use, and/or re-export to another country, of encryption software. BEFORE using any encryption software, please check your country's laws, regulations and policies concerning the import, possession, or use, and re-export of encryption software.

    Lens

    Lens

Lens is an opt-in search engine and data collection tool

Lens is an opt-in search engine and data collection tool to aid content discovery of the distributed web. It exposes a simple, minimal API for intelligently indexing and querying content on IPFS. Initially integrated with Temporal, Lens will allow users to optionally have the data they upload be searched and indexed and be awarded with RTC for participating in the data collection process. Users can then search for content using a simple-to-use API. Searching through Lens will be facilitated through Temporal web. Optionally, we will have a service independent from Temporal which users can submit content to have it be indexed. This however, is not compensated with RTC. In order to receive the RTC, you must participate through Lens indexing within the Temporal web interface.

    Prometheus Spec

    Prometheus Spec

Censorship-resistant trustless state channels for machine learning

Censorship resistant decentralised computing is a new topic in distributed systems theory. With the recent rise in popularity of Bitcoin as a censorship-resistant financial and transactional system a new technological field of blockchain and its applications appeared. This work addresses the problem of computational integrity proofs (correctness of the actual computations) made by some non-trusted (anonymous) third party without repeating the whole volume of the actual computing. The issue is usually addressed by use of probabilistically checkable proofs (PCP), however, such simple approach leave untouched the question of coupling the payments for the consumed computational resources with the actual proof. The purpose of our protocol is to scale distributed calculations by obtaining results of nearly perfect (measurable) quality, without the need to repeat calculations or check the computational integrity proofs by the client.

    UDEX

    UDEX

Secure and Decentralized Exchange + Wallet for Ethereum ERC20 tokens

We believe that private property is untouchable and market access is unconditional. That is why we engineered a crypto exchange that is equally open to all, lives online forever and unconditionally protects your assets. It is fully peer-to-peer and works without any centrally managed servers. It can't be stopped, blocked or taken down. Such an approach enables the wallet to operate anywhere and remain censorship-resistant. Only the user is in control of the money. Wallet-to-wallet token trading is the most secure way to trade ERC20 tokens directly from your Ethereum wallet. Trading cryptocurrencies doesn't have to mean losing custody. Use UDEX to maintain control of your ERC20 tokens while trading directly from your wallet. Trade when you want, where you want, without a middleman.

    ipfs-check

    ipfs-check

A tool for checking the accessibility of your data by IPFS peers

A tool for checking the accessibility of your data by IPFS peers. go build will build the server binary in your local directory. go install will build and install the server binary in your global Go binary directory (e.g. ~/go/bin) There are web assets in the web that interact with the Go HTTP server that can be deployed however you deploy web assets. Maybe just deploy it on IPFS and reference it with DNSLink. For anything other than local testing you're going to want to have a proxy to give you HTTPS support on the Go server.
