FTPprune is a Perl script to manage the size of a remote ftp archive. It was originally developed to manage offsite copies of Zoneminder CCTV events, but can be used with any FTP file archive. FTPprune will go through the archive and remove the oldest files reducing the archive size to a maximum that you specify, optionally preserving the last (-a) days of files. FileReader is a polyfill library combining JavaScript and Flash (SWF) to mimic the HTML5 File API in older browsers (notably Internet Explorer and Safari versions that did not support File API fully). It overlays a transparent Flash SWF over a DOM element to allow users to select files, then exposes a .files attribute etc., so that client-side file reading behaves more like modern standard. It is unmaintained now, since File API support is widespread.
