    AI File Sorter

Local AI file organization with categorization and rename suggestions

AI File Sorter is a cross-platform desktop application that uses AI (local LLMs run on your computer) to organize files and suggest meaningful file names based on real content, not just filenames or extensions. The app can analyze images locally and propose descriptive rename suggestions (for example, IMG_2048.jpg → clouds_over_lake.jpg). It can also analyze document text to improve categorization and renaming. Supported formats include PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, ODT, ODS, ODP, and common...

    corrupt

This program corrupts a unix stream at a specified error rate

This program intentionally corrupts a unix stream at a specified error rate. It is for systematic analysis on the effects of data corruption. I wrote it to simulate bit-rot in file archives so I could test RAID and archive strategies for data recovery. A few short bash scripts are included so you can instantly enjoy text, image, audio, and video corruption. Just drop in your own data files called test.jpg, test.mp3, and test.mp4 and run the scripts. Usage format is: corrupt [OPTION]... [FILE] where: OPTIONS -bit single bit error instead of byte substitution corruption -B NUM_B number of bytes per a single corruption event -kB NUM_KB number of kilobytes per a single corruption event -MB NUM_MB number of megabytes per a single corruption event -u uniform corruption instead of a random statistical event -c CHAR substitute a constant CHAR instead of a random bit/byte error

    qlsdup

GUI based lightweight duplicate file finder / remover.

Simple GUI based lightweight duplicate file finder and remover. Configurable file search and preview (via external tools) option for file data. No command-line interface available! This is basically a reimplementation of dupfinder as: it doesn't compile on my computer, the executable won't work either, the projects seems dead and I didn't wanna work through the original code. So Look'n'Feel should be somewhat the same, though some changes have been made. Algorithm is simple and...
