...Indexes not only all the files in your filesystems, but also those inside archives, filesystem images, and disk images as well. NOTE: For full functionality (reading partitions inside disk images, for example), the project "procb" is also required. There has been a tremendous amount of work done on this project (years, including lots of new filetypes) that has yet to be well-tested, cleaned up and uploaded, so please be patient and occasionally check back. NOTE: command line syntax and parameters have changed in newer versions significantly, to incorporate easy searches and easier database (flat file) creation. -

A little utility for grouping files (including recursively into directories) into groups of sizes no bigger than a set amount. For example, set the max size to 700 MB to group files into groups for burning CDs.

JFileManipulator aims to be a collection of tools, which manipulate files in some way or the other, and is aimed at manipulating said files in batches. It for example allows you to write a text to a number of image files, all for a group of files.

There are many online storage services, for example Dropbox. While these services claim to be secure, they should not be relied upon for security or reliability. SDFS aims to address this issue by providing a filesystem-like interface while encrypting and storing data redundantly in many online storage accounts. In the first alpha early release(0.0.0) we are planning to support dropbox only but if you want support for other services, or if you are a developer who wants to develop support for a certain service, please file a ticket or post a discussion topic.
