A free COBOL compiler
GnuCOBOL (formerly OpenCOBOL) is a free COBOL compiler. cobc translates COBOL source to executable using intermediate C, designated C compiler and linker. OpenCOBOL 1.1 became GNU Cobol 1.1 in 2013. GnuCOBOL 2.2 is the latest, version 3.0 is on its way. A programmer's guide, by Gary Cutler and Vincent Coen, is indexed at https://open-cobol.sourceforge.io together with more documentation. OpenCOBOL was written by Keisuke Nishida and Roger While, from 2001 to 2012. GnuCOBOL is also authored by Simon Sobisch, Ron Norman, Edward Hart, Sergey Kashyrin, Dave Pitts and Brian Tiffin. Cross-platform, scientific graphics plotting library
PLplot is a cross-platform, scientific graphics plotting library that supports math symbols and human languages (via UTF-8 user input strings); plot capabilities for multiple non-interactive plot file formats and in multiple interactive environments; and bindings for multiple computer languages.
StoryText (formerly PyUseCase) is an unconventional GUI testing tool, with support for PyGTK, Tkinter, wxPython, Swing, SWT and Eclipse RCP. Instead of recording GUI mechanics directly, it asks the user for descriptive names and hence builds up a "domain language" along with a "UI map file" that translates it into the current GUI layout. The point is to reduce coupling, allow very expressive tests, and ensure that GUI changes mean changing the UI map file but not all the tests. Instead of an "assertion" mechanism, it auto-generates a log of the GUI appearance and changes to it. The point is then to use that as a baseline for text-based testing, using e.g. TextTest. It also includes support for instrumenting code so that "waits" can be recorded, making it far easier for a tester to record correctly synchronized tests without having to explicitly plan for this.
Streamline is a pipelined I/O subsystem for both kernel and application processing on Linux, with 40+ filters for pattern matching, stream reassembly, compression, etc. It exports the pipes, sockets, and pcap interfaces and uses shared memory to reduce I
RawGeno Version 2.0-1 is released! RawGeno is an R CRAN library automating the scoring of AFLP electropherograms. The library includes a graphical user interface to simplify its use. Note that the 2.0-1 version is delivered as a source (*.tar.gz for Linux and Mac users) and as a binary file (*.zip, for Windows users). The installation procedure differs slightly according to your system; but this should remain simple. Have a look at the readme file when you download your new copy from https://sourceforge.net/projects/rawgeno/files/rawgeno/RawGeno%202.0-1/ Make also sure to have a look at https://sourceforge.net/projects/rawgeno/files/ where you can find a detailed manual, demo datasets and many demo scripts.
Geek is trying to provide a framework to help developer use tcl/tk to write and deploy pragram. It can wrap a tcl/tk program to .EXE in windows platform, compile tcl/tk code to TCL ByteCode and the package management is much like java class/jar.
