Conscious Artificial Intelligence
It's possible for machines to become self-aware.
We believe that it's possible for machines to become self-aware, but may not exhibit human-like thought processes. This project is a quest for conscious artificial intelligence. We will develop prototypes while we go for our main goal. Our steps will be 1) Develop a Learning/Predictive Module. 2) Develop a Planning Module based on the learning/predictive module. 3) Develop a Plan Optimization Module so plans built in the previous module can be optimized. 4) Develop a Decision Making Engine based on previous planning. 5) Develop prototypes of the artificial creature. 6) Publish some academic papers. At the time the agent is born, it doesn't know how to walk nor it knows that it feels pleasure by mining. He has tact only (blind agent). Adianti Framework is a component-based and event-driven framework that uses commonly known enterprise design patterns like MVC (Model View Controller), Front Controller and ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) design patterns like Active Record and Repository. Adianti Framework is also the first framework in the world that provides two different widget toolkits, one for Web applications (HTML/CSS) and another for graphical applications (with Graphical User Interface) that uses Gtk internally. Once the Adianti Framework provides two widget toolkits, the developer writes one code and is able to run its application under the web environment and also as a graphical application. The application will work with two interfaces: Web and Gtk. The next figure demonstrates the the same application running with the two widget toolkits.

RNA-Seq based gene prediction pipeline for fungal genomes
SnowyOwl is a gene prediction pipeline that uses RNA-Seq data to train and provide hints for the generation of Hidden Markov Model (HMM)-based gene predictions, and to evaluate the resulting models. The pipeline has been validated and streamlined by comparing its predictions to manually curated gene models in three fungal genomes, and its results show substantial increases in sensitivity and selectivity over previous gene predictions. Sensitivity is gained by repeatedly running the HMM gene predictor Augustus with varied input parameters, and selectivity by choosing the models with best homology to known proteins and best agreement to the RNA-Seq data. SnowyOwl has successfully predicted genes in 26 novel fungal genomes. The pipeline can be installed locally for high throughput and control over configuration. It can also be run on a remote server through a convenient web interface for occasional use.

SES brings back the uncrackable onetime pad, with a digital twist. It is well known that a random key of message-length is the only provably unbreakable cipher. SES uses cryptographic strength pseudo-random keys of message-length for its many encipherments, in addition to offering true one-time pad capability for the intrepid. SES is built on ISAAC, Bob Jenkins' unbroken CSPRNG, a fast and simple stream cipher placed in the Public Domain in 1996. SES now gives you the ability to efficiently cipher text of arbitrary length or files of any size or type. Use it with confidence. To achieve complete one-on-one privacy, SES traverses several levels en route to its output. The more words in your key-phrase, the more layers of encipherment SES applies. It is part Vigenere, part onetime pad, part cryptographic hash, not to mention the essential scrambler element, each component driven by ISAAC, with all key-derivation and stretching relying on Keccak in 512-bit configuration.

Maggy is a tool for designing an application around a Sqlite or a MySQL database. Oriented towards information databases, its main task is searching information quickly through lists and inverted data. Originally written in php and designed for MySQL, the version 2 is a full rewrite in Python, now oriented to SQLite. MySQL support may be included, but not fully implemented yet. Maggy2 is in beta state and the documentation is missing. But the program is quite fully functional.
