GridLAB-D is a new power system simulation tool that provides valuable information to users who design and operate electric power transmission and distribution systems, and to utilities that wish to take advantage of the latest smart grid technology. It incorporates advanced modeling techniques with high-performance algorithms to deliver the latest in end-use load modeling technology integrated with three-phase unbalanced power flow, and retail market systems. Historically, the inability to effectively model and evaluate smart grid technologies has been a barrier to adoption; GridLAB-D is designed to address this problem. User documentation can be found at: http://gridlab-d.shoutwiki.com/wiki/Quick_links The source code is available from GitHub. See https://github.com/gridlab-d/gridlab-d. Issue tracking is handled by GitHub. See https://github.com/gridlab-d/gridlab-d/issues.

Tool to detect and correct vulnerabilities in PHP web applications
WAP automatic detects and corrects input validation vulnerabilities in web applications written in PHP Language (version 4.0 or higher) and with a low rate of false positives. WAP detects the following vulnerabilities: - SQL injection using MySQL, PostgreSQL and DB2 DBMS - Reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) - Stored XSS - Remote file inclusion - Local file inclusion - Directory traversal - Source code disclosure - OS command injection - PHP code injection WAP is a static analysis tool that performs taint analysis to detect vulnerabilities, tracking malicious users inputs and checking if they reach calls of sensitive functions. It has a low rate of false positives because has implemented a data mining module to predict false positives when detects vulnerabilities. The output of the tool is: - shows the vulnerabilities found and how they are corrected - new files with the corrections

NGSEP (Next Generation Sequencing Experience Platform)
NGSEP is an integrated framework for analysis of high throughput sequencing reads with several deployment alternatives for different kinds of users. The main functionality of NGSEP is the variants detector, which allows to make simultaneous discovery of SNVs, indels, and CNVs. We also provide a user interface for bowtie2, alignments sorting, merging of variants from different samples, functional annotation, filtering, format conversion, and several additional features. Note: The quick download (green) button will provide you the jar file for command line usage. For other usage alternatives including the Eclipse plugin, please visit the wiki (https://sourceforge.net/p/ngsep/wiki/Home/)
The Umple Model-Oriented Programming Technology
Umple is technology for Model-Oriented Programming. It adds abstractions such as UML associations, attributes, and state machines to object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, PHP and Ruby. A developer can use Umple in one of several ways. They can start with a pure model, containing only classes, associations, attributes and state machines, and then gradually add methods in one of the base languages to the Umple code base. Alternatively a developer can start with a normal program in a language like Java, and add modeling constructs in very small increments, gradually moving their system from a code-centric system from a model-centric system. Either way, Umple provides top-quality code generation. Umple is being used, for real systems. In fact the Umple compiler itself was written in Umple. Any Java, C++ or PHP project could use Umple. The UmpleOnline web app provides a quick way to explore the Umple approach. It is at http://try.umple.org

basE91 is an advanced method for encoding binary data as ASCII characters. It is similar to UUencode or base64, but is more efficient. The overhead produced by basE91 depends on the input data. It amounts at most to 23% and can range down to 14%.
JBasic is a traditional BASIC language intepreter written in Java for command line or embedded use. It supports conventional GW-BASIC style syntax, plus some modern extensions for supporting threads, JDBC, etc. JBasic can be run directly from a shell.
An e-stim signal generator in java
A signal generator generating signals for e-stim purposes. Planned to support windows, linux, and popular cell phone/tablet systems. Will create pulse trains that are mostly zero-averaged to avoid cell damage, allow certain manipulation options (frequency and amplitude modulation in certain ways). Control will be possible via a Java Swing GUI, and/or a terminal like interface on network or serial lines. Will allow 1-4 channels (2-8 electrodes). Output the signal via a soundcard to an amplifier that can output e-stim compliant signals (100+V, current limited to about 100mA, high impedance, short circuit proof). Care to have a potential free output for every electrode (use separating NF transformers). Author claims no responsibility for physical damage from misuse or routing the signal through unsuitable circuitry. Any use happens at the sole risk of the user.
