OPTOSS Next Gen Network Management System (NG-NetMS)
Why to pay tens of thousands $$$ for your network management software? Get visibility into your networks and complex processes inside with NG-NetMS now! NG-NetMS is a new end-to-end network management platform for your Linux servers, Cisco, Juniper, HP and Extreme routers, switches and firewalls. NG-NetMS is precise, quick and efficient. It collects most complete information about the network inventory, topology, map of IPv4 addresses quickly and with minimum hassle. Most important you will be able to collect, process and analyse Syslog events and SNMP alarms both in near-real-time and from the historical archives in a new way. We successfully used NG-NetMS for delivery of network assessment services for our customers worldwide for many years. And now we want to share this unique and fully functional tool with community. It is not capped in terms of performance or number of nodes. The only limit is the hardware you deploy it on. http://www.opt-net.eu/products

a parallel short-read error corrector for Illumina sequencing
Musket is an efficient multistage k-mer based corrector for Illumina short read data. This corrector employs the k-mer spectrum approach and introduces three correction techniques in a multistage workflow. Our performance evaluation results, in terms of correction quality and de novo genome assembly measures, reveal that Musket is consistently one of the top performing substitution-error-based correctors. In addition, Musket is multi-threaded using a master-slave model and demonstrates superior parallel scalability compared to all other evaluated correctors as well as a highly competitive overall execution time.
Comet open source tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) search engine.
Comet is an open source tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) sequence database search engine. It identifies peptides by searching MS/MS spectra against sequences present in protein sequence databases. Comet currently exists as a simple Windows or Linux command line binary that only does MS/MS database search. Supported input formats are mzXML, mzML, and ms2 files. Supported output formats are .out, SQT, and pepXML Documentation and project website: http://comet-ms.sourceforge.net
Sedna is a native full-featured XML database management system.
Massively parallel software for quantum chemistry calculations
Scalable Molecular Analysis Solver for High-performance computing systems (SMASH) is open-source software for massively parallel quantum chemistry calculations. It is currently capable of energy, analytical gradient, and geometry optimization calculations of Hartree-Fock theory and Density Functional Theory (DFT), and energy calculations of Second-order Moller-Plesset (MP2) perturbation theory. DFT calculations can be performed on 100,000 CPU cores of K Computer with high parallel efficiency.
The project aims at creating an enterprise-grade PKI/Trustcenter software supporting well established components like RDBMS and Hardware Security Modules. The core components are written in Perl. OpenXPKI is released under the Apache License v2. NOTE: Development resources have moved to https://github.com/openxpki/openxpki SF Mailing Lists are still active.

The Emulation Framework offers a convenient way to render digital files in their native computer environment. The EF is software developed in Java by the international KEEP project, co-funded by the European Unions 7th Framework Programme.
Database Replication Benchmark and Test Tool
The objective of this project is to provide an open source database replication software benchmark and testing tool. It is very difficult in database replication projects to estimate necessary network bandwidth, CPU usage, memory and disk usage, etc. This project will help compare different database replication options and can be used as a capacity plan tool for database replication projects.
