Identify sizes of memory modules installed on most UNIX-based systems
Identify sizes of memory modules installed on a Solaris, Linux, FreeBSD or HP-UX workstation or server. memconf reports the size of each SIMM/DIMM memory module installed in a system. It also reports the system type and any empty memory sockets. In verbose mode, it also reports the following information if available: - banner name, model and CPU/system frequencies - address range and bank numbers for each module
dhcp-gen is a perl script that was written by me and Trond Erik Dalho to simplify editing dhcpd.conf for adding static ip to computers and equipment on our school. It also made it easier to do manage the network by limiting some computers access to the local network only. Creating closed networks. And it also worked as a database over all our computers and equipment, making it easier to keep track of everything. All information about equipment is stored inside csv files which are comma separated.

Its main feature, the 'info bar' (information bar), displays the following: - current branch (in 'red' if on master) - current cksum (in 'red' if there are uncommitted changes and displays an 'uncommitted changes' message in the message area) - stash count in the message area if you have stashes The info bar is only displayed when you are in a git repository's path. Please see the license under source/git-info-bar. A HMM-based algorithm for defining enriched regions from ChIP-seq data
HPeak is a hidden Markov model-based approach that can accurately pinpoint regions to where significantly more sequence reads map. Testing on real data shows that these regions are indeed highly enriched by the right protein binding sites. Command (single-end): perl /compbio/software/HPeak3/HPeak.pl -sp HUMAN/MOUSE -format BED -t TREATMENT.inp -c CONTROL.inp -n OUTPUTPREFIX -fmin 100 -fmax 300 -r 36 -ann -wig -seq -interfiles Command (pair-end): perl /compbio/software/HPeak3/HPeak.pl -sp HUMAN/MOUSE -format BED -pe TREATMENT.inp -c CONTROL.inp -n OUTPUTPREFIX -isize 200 -r 100 -pec (if control is PE) -ann -wig -seq –interfiles note: 1. Default species is HUMAN. Also supports MOUSE. Can add any other genome if in need. 2. Default format is BED. Also support ELAND. Will add SAM and BAM. 3. –r specifies read length (this is import through my experience). 4. –pe indicates pair-ended data. 5. If data is pair-ended, -isize refers to insert size (total length of a pair).
