Dynamically loaded extension libraries for GNU AWK
The gawkextlib project provides several extension libraries for gawk (GNU AWK), as well as libgawkextlib containing some APIs that are useful for building gawk extension libraries. These libraries enable gawk to process XML data, interact with a PostgreSQL database, use the GD graphics library, and perform unlimited precision MPFR calculations. These extensions work with GNU AWK version 4.1.1 or later. We have created a framework for packaging gawk extensions, and we welcome further contributions. Recent additions include haru, redis, and select for I/O multiplexing.
Client/server software, human language dictionary databases, and tools supporting the DICT protocol (RFC 2229).
Callflow Sequence Diagram Generator
The callflow sequence diagram generator is a collection of awk and shell scripts that will take a packet capture file that can be read by wireshark and produce a time sequence diagram. This is useful to view & debug SIP callflows or other network traffic
RunAWK is a small wrapper for AWK interpreter that helps write standalone programs in AWK. It provides support for modules and other powerful features. It comes with dozens of modules which provide efficient means for handling command line options, powerful functions for manipulating strings and arrays as well as sorting, mathematical, tmpfile, braceexpand functions and a lot of others.
basE91 is an advanced method for encoding binary data as ASCII characters. It is similar to UUencode or base64, but is more efficient. The overhead produced by basE91 depends on the input data. It amounts at most to 23% and can range down to 14%.
paexec distributes tasks over network or CPUs.
TraceMAC is a command-line Layer 2 traceroute for Cisco switches
TraceMAC is a Windows/Linux command-line tool that allows you to trace a specific MAC address thru Cisco switches. It works by connecting to a switch using SSH, SNMP, Telnet, HTTP or HTTPS and do some "show commands" and later process the output, this will happen recursively until it finds the switch where that MAC address (PC/Printer/Etc) is directly connected. Note: It works with Cisco switches only and you must have CDP enabled at least on trunks/links between switches! Tested with Cisco SW: 2960, 3560, 3750, 4948, 6509, Express 500
LMDBG is a set of small utilities for collecting and analysing logs of malloc(3), calloc(3), realloc(3), memalign(3), posix_memalign(3) and free(3) functions. LMDBG generates full stacktraces and separates the logging process from analysis, thus allowing analysis of application on per-module basis. Simple but powerful tools for analysis are also provided.
Easy way to search files and folders
Like the Linux "locate" and "updatedb", "winlocate" is a very simple solution for finding files and folders in a windows environment system. All is done by using 2 scripts (.BAT), some GNU tools and Sqlite3. I hope you will enjoy this release.
Yacc-to-Latex pretty printer/convertor
Y2L is a Yacc-to-Latex pretty printer/convertor. It converts Yacc grammar descriptions into EBNF descriptions in LaTeX or plain ASCII. It's written entirely in AWK.
Photo slideshow generator including a Ken Burns effect along smooth curves, user definable soft luma transitions, and easy audio integration. Produces MPEG (MPEG2, MPEG4), DV or FLV for DVD creation or for the web.
configure XF86Config and xorg.conf from the command line
A set of tools for simulating semiconductor nanostructures.
This software accompanies the textbook "Quantum Wells, Wires and Dots" (4th Edition), Paul Harrison and Alex Valavanis, Wiley, Chichester (2015). It is adapted (by the same authors) from code that was originally supplied on a CD with the first edition of the book and is now made available under the GPL3 license. In brief, we encourage everyone to use the software in your studies and research, to study and modify the source-code and to share it widely. However, you are not permitted to include any of our code in a closed-source project.
awkStatistics generates statistics from csv-data with awk.
AwkStatistics is a script which is used to generate statistical data for csv data by using awk. It takes two columns from the input file, one is used to identify the row(option -i) and the other one is the column where the values are taken from (option -v). The script was designed for performance engineers to be able to analyze CSV-Data on the fly and have a good possibility to automate the analysis process.
GTCop Professional Security Appliance aims to provide a powerful tool for satellite communications, with enhanced QoS and bandwidth controls. As derived from IPCop Firewall, it is a stable, secure, easy to configure and maintain GNU/Linux firewall box.
SOAPsv: is a program for detecting the structural variation
This is an approach that complements previous methods for reliable homozygous structural variation identification. Our approach accurately determines genotype and breakpoints relative to a reference genome based on de novo assembly of Illumina Genome Analyzer sequencing data. In this method, we examined only homozygous structural variations because detecting heterozygous structural variations requires assembly of haplotype sequences, which is not yet possible using existing assemblers.
Genomecomb is a package for the analysis of complete genome data. It can be used to compare, annotate and especially filter the results of complete genome sequencing.
Industrial embedded Linux for Raspberry Pi
Nard is a software development kit (SDK) written from scratch for the Raspberry Pi family of boards. Unlike Raspbian, which primarily is for desktop use, Nard focus on embedded systems running day and night for years. It has many features requested by industrial users.
An extended library for C programming providing regex, parsing & more.
The Phorward Foundation Toolkit (libphorward) provides a powerful, extensional set of useful functions for C programmers. It focuses on compiler development-related tasks, but can also be used for general purpose development tasks using the C programming language. It comes with many useful extensions for universal linked lists, hash-tables, dynamic stacks and arrays, extended string management functions and some platform-independent, system-specific helper functions. Based on top of these general purpose functions, the Phorward Foundation Toolkit provides more specializing tools for regular expression handling and parser implementation, focusing on both LL and LR/LALR grammars and parsers.
This network application allow you to manage a remote sql database over a php-enabled webserver. Unlike PhpMyAdmin web-based interface, phpmysqladmin offers a commandline interface (cli) locally.
chainssh is a shell script to smplify the ssh login via multiple sshgateways/firewallgateaways. e.g. connect from homehost via sshgateway to a clusternode with one command.
