TuGeNy is a tournament organization software.
TuGeNy is a software that allows to graphically design tournaments of any kind. It is supposed to simplify the process of creating the tournament bracket and the time schedule, even providing a fully automatic algorithm to create the latter. Field plans can be exported as PDF. Additionally the match results can be managed while the tounament runs to automatically determine the upcoming matches. As a special feature, a simulation can be run to determine the quality of a tournament bracket. For this purpose it is assumed that there is an unambiguous way to order all tournament participants by strength. After that, the lots are drawn and the final ranking is compared to the expected. This process is done very often and statistical values are calculated. This software was developed for the sport Jugger but should be usable for any kind of tournament.

It is a simple GUI program to connect from your linux desktop to systems by ssh, vnc / realvnc or rdp (windows). Other or additional methods are configurable. (your own version of.....) License is GPLv3 or later, at your choice. binary executable and source code of project is available on the support URL : https://rensg.home.xs4all.nl/unix/unix.html to compile / change you need a Lazarus pascal installation (v1.8 or later), a free GUI IDE for pascal / mostly compatible with Delphi : Lazarus is included with most distributions, https://www.lazarus-ide.org/ This source might compile/link on Lazarus for Windows, but it will NOT work. I am NOT considering a windows port. What it does: You can start vncviewer, rvnc, rdesktop or a terminal with ssh to a host you selected. the host list can be saved, thus saving you from typing command lines over and over again. please note: I do not do helpdesk etc. I may or may not respond to questions.

Nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NSE) is a fundamental equation in nonlinear optics that describes the propagation of a pulse through a dispersive and nonlinear medium. Nonlinear Pulse Propagation Solver (NPP) is a program, written in C/C++, that solves NSE in an arbitrary waveguide. It has a user friendly interface, which allows a user to enter the pulse and waveguide parameters and execute simulations. The program can be invoked within MATLAB and any other scripting language. It can export the results in different formats including ASCII text “.txt” and MATLAB “.mat” format. The program can also utilize the power of GPU via CUDA. With a modern gaming card “NVidia GTX TITAN”, a speed increase of a factor of 100 times can be achieved. This makes NPP a powerful tool especially for simulating long waveguides.

The Beaglebone Black project presented here is a software written by Python and Qt and is intended to show the simple control of inputs and outputs (GPIO), the graphic course of input signals GPIO, the configuration and sending and receiving of data via the UART interfaces, the display of the PIN configuration of the Beaglebone Black and the graphic display of the signal course at the analog inputs. The software runs on the BBB under Debian 8.9 and on Linux computers (as a demo). It is intended to demonstrate the interaction of software with hardware and to encourage the development of peripheral hardware that works with the software described here. The presented tablet Beaglebone Black is to be extended by the display of industrial bus protocols such as CANbus, Profibus, Profinet, etc.
