    Hash Latch
The hash latch generates keys in a manner similar to how some cryptocurrencies are mined. It takes a string and brute-forces a prefix for it so that the hash of the string with the prefix has a certain number of leading zeroes. But that alone would've been too easy to hack. To prevent an attacker from forging the keys by generating a new prefix: the hash latch doesn't output the keys in the plaintext.

    Compare Backup Drive Hashes

A spreadsheet to aid in detecting ransomware-corrupted files

...The spreadsheet allows the user to compare two sets of file hashes, such as the hashes for files on two different data drives. The spreadsheet's Instructions tab provides step-by-step guidance through that comparison process. The purpose of the file hash comparison is to identify files whose contents have changed. For example, the files on an up-to-date data drive may be compared against the files previously found on that data drive, or on a backup drive. Identifying changed files may be useful as a precaution against ransomware. The Support tab (above) links to a blog post discussing uses of the spreadsheet for that purpose. ...

    sjcl

    sjcl

    Stanford Javascript Crypto Library

...The minified version of the library is under 6.4KB compressed, and yet it posts impressive speed results. SJCL is secure. It uses the industry-standard AES algorithm at 128, 192 or 256 bits; the SHA256 hash function; the HMAC authentication code; the PBKDF2 password strengthener; and the CCM and OCB authenticated-encryption modes. Just as importantly, the default parameters are sensible: SJCL strengthens your passwords by a factor of 1000 and salts them to protect against rainbow tables, and it authenticates every message it sends to prevent it from being modified. ...

    jPass - Cross-Platform Password Manager

    jPass - Cross-Platform Password Manager

Compiled into a single .jar file. Tiny Password Manager. Portable

I did not see a pre-built version of this software on the original developers Github project (https://github.com/gaborbata/jpass), so I am taking it upon myself to compile the releases as they come, so that others don't have to. --Description-- JPass is a simple, small, portable password manager application with strong encryption. It allows you to store user names, passwords, URLs and generic notes in an encrypted file protected by one master password. I will not add the source...

The MOTET Cipher & SE Scrambler

The MOTET Cipher & SE Scrambler

A tiny, fast encryption tool in C

MOTET is a tiny, fast super-encipherment application written in C, featuring the new CSPRNG/stream ciphers MOTE and BEDBUG in each of their three variants, as well as the "gold standard" among ciphers, ISAAC. MOTET brings multiple levels of encryption, including a ciphertext-hash, a Vigenere mixing function, a choice of Caesar MOD or Caesar MIX ciphering on the primary key-stream, plus a deeply scrambled "outer shell" as a final super-encryption stage. A unique nonce IV guarantees that each ciphertext will differ radically from every other, even on the same message and identical key.

    Azrar

    Azrar

    Encryption addressing long-term data secrecy

...To achieve long-term data secrecy, Azrar differs from other approaches in terms of not to rely on effective computational deficiencies. It combines a one-time pad with a stream cipher method using the strong cryptographic hash function (family) Skein. Azrar fulfills business requirements for secure data transfer and supports several operating systems natively. It does not use a runtime environment.

    FactHash

    Factorial Hashing Function

My first attempt at a one-way hashing class/algoritm, built as a python class. It produces variable length hash from a message block of the size you want. The resulting hash will be ~2x the message block in size, and should provide for at least as many bits of security as the block itself. I updated this, with a different hash than original, since I found a potential collision on some blocks, not but specific to that challenge. To further correct this, I modified the padding when it's less than the block size. ...
