    xxHash

    xxHash

    Extremely fast non-cryptographic hash algorithm

...It is proposed in four flavors (XXH32, XXH64, XXH3_64bits and XXH3_128bits). The latest variant, XXH3, offers improved performance across the board, especially on small data. It successfully completes the SMHasher test suite which evaluates collision, dispersion and randomness qualities of hash functions. Code is highly portable, and hashes are identical across all platforms (little / big endian). Performance on large data is only one part of the picture. Hashing is also very useful in constructions like hash tables and bloom filters. In these use cases, it's frequent to hash a lot of small data (starting at a few bytes). ...

Largest Generic Hash and HMAC Program

57 Hash Functions In One Program, plus each with HMAC or KMAC

FEHASHMAC is the largest collection of publicly known hash algorithms integrated into a command-line utility. FEHASHMAC contains a set of known test vectors and results for each algorithm such that the correct implementation for each hardware platform and compiler version can directly be verified. Currently 57 hash algorithms like sha1 sha224 sha256 sha384 sha512 and variants, sha3 and shake, all SHA3 finalists and blake3, md2 md4 md5 md6, rmd128 rmd160 rmd256 rmd320, whirl gost lash160 lash256 lash384 lash512 tiger2 and RFC 2104 HMAC and KMAC support are included, plus SHA3 extensions kmac128, kmac256, kmacxof128, kmacxof256 for message.

    file digest

A command-line utility for calculating and verifying file checksums.

...Usage: digest [-c] <algorithm> <filename(s)> For example, if you want to calculate the checksums using skein512/256 algorithm, use this command: digest skein512/256 * > checksums.skein To verify the checksums: digest -c skein512/256 checksums.skein You can get a full list of supported algorithms and test the performance of different algorithms on your PC using the command: digest test <iterations> <filename> This will calculate hash sum of <filename> multiple times (number of times is specified by <iterations>) and output the results with precise timings. Note: if you have a 64-bit operating system, use 64-bit binary of the utility, because it is significantly faster for large files.

    BEDBUG CSPRNG & Stream Cipher

    BEDBUG CSPRNG & Stream Cipher

A family of FLEA-inspired CSPRNGs and Stream Ciphers

BEDBUG is a small, fast, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) and stream cipher. It exhibits uniform distribution, mixes rapidly (with worst-case avalanche better than 16-bits), has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: BEDBUG128, with an internal state array of 128+3 32-bit words; BEDBUG256, with an internal state of 256+3 words; and BEDBUG512 with a 512+3-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 4096 or 8192 bits, the latter with a...

    MOTE CSPRNG & Stream Cipher

    MOTE CSPRNG & Stream Cipher

A family of small-state CSPRNGs and Stream Ciphers

MOTE is a fast, small-state, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) and stream cipher. MOTE exhibits uniform distribution, mixes extremely rapidly, has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: MOTE8, with an internal state array of 8+4 32-bit words; MOTE16, with an internal state of 16+4 words; and MOTE32 with a 32+4-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 256 or 512 bits, the latter with a 1024-bit key. Reduced to essentials, MOTE is only...
