    aws-encryption-sdk

    aws-encryption-sdk

    AWS Encryption SDK

The AWS Encryption SDK is a client-side encryption library designed to make it easy for everyone to encrypt and decrypt data using industry standards and best practices. It enables you to focus on the core functionality of your application, rather than on how to best encrypt and decrypt your data. The AWS Encryption SDK is provided free of charge under the Apache 2.0 license. With the AWS Encryption SDK, you define a master key provider (Java and Python) or a keyring (C, C#/.NET, and JavaScript) that determines which wrapping keys you use to protect your data. Then you encrypt and decrypt your data using straightforward methods provided by the AWS Encryption SDK. The AWS Encryption SDK does the rest. Without the AWS Encryption SDK, you might spend more effort on building an encryption solution than on the core functionality of your application.

    aws-encryption-sdk-cli

    aws-encryption-sdk-cli

    CLI wrapper around aws-encryption-sdk-python

This command line tool can be used to encrypt and decrypt files and directories using the AWS Encryption SDK. If you have not already installed cryptography, you might need to install additional prerequisites as detailed in the cryptography installation guide for your operating system. Installation using a python virtual environment is recommended to avoid conflicts between system packages and user-installed packages. For the most part, the behavior of aws-encryption-cli in handling files is based on that of GNU CLIs such as cp. A qualifier to this is that when encrypting a file, if a directory is provided as the destination, rather than creating the source filename in the destination directory, a suffix is appended to the destination filename. By default the suffix is .encrypted when encrypting and .decrypted when decrypting, but a custom suffix can be provided by the caller if desired.

    dCrypt - Android Encryption Decryption

    dCrypt - Android Encryption Decryption

An Android application for encryption and decryption

It is a simple android application for encryption and decryption of files using passphrase. Supported API levels are in the range 10 (min) and 17 (max). To encrypt a file, what you need is to share the file to "DCrypt" and enter a passphrase. To decrypt the file, you have to share the encrypted file to the application and enter the passphrase. Obviously the passphrase for encryption and decryption should be the same. Note that the file shredding is disabled by default. That means the original file won't be deleted even if you encrypt it. To enable file shredding, go to Settings-> Enable Shredding. Please use the following e-mail id to report bugs if any: dhanoopbhaskar@gmail.com Suggestions are most welcome :) Regards, Dhanoop Bhaskar http://www.theinsanetechie.in

    file digest

A command-line utility for calculating and verifying file checksums.

Digest is a command-line utility which can be used to calculate and verify checksums of any files, similar to md5sum or RHash, but using modern hash algorithms. Supported algorithms: BLAKE, BLAKE2, Grøstl, JH, Kupyna, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2, SHA-3, Skein, SM3, Streebog, Whirlpool. Usage: digest [-c] <algorithm> <filename(s)> For example, if you want to calculate the checksums using skein512/256 algorithm, use this command: digest skein512/256 * > checksums.skein To verify the checksums: digest -c skein512/256 checksums.skein You can get a full list of supported algorithms and test the performance of different algorithms on your PC using the command: digest test <iterations> <filename> This will calculate hash sum of <filename> multiple times (number of times is specified by <iterations>) and output the results with precise timings. Note: if you have a 64-bit operating system, use 64-bit binary of the utility, because it is significantly faster for large files.

    filepilot-enterprise-vault

    filepilot-enterprise-vault

Self-hosted vault for team server credentials & audit logging

https://abhibagul.github.io/filepilot/enterprise.html FilePilot Enterprise Vault is a free, open-source, self-hosted credential server for teams that need shared access to FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SCP, S3, and WebDAV servers — without passing around passwords. Admins provision encrypted connection profiles once, then issue scoped, revocable access tokens to teammates instead of raw credentials. Credentials are protected with two-tier AES-256-GCM envelope encryption, organized into isolated Vault Groups, each with its own encryption key, IP allowlist, and choice of KMS provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, or HashiCorp Vault). Role-based access control with 20+ granular permissions ensures every action is enforced server-side. Built for compliance-driven teams, the Vault keeps a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail, streams events to your SIEM via signed webhooks, and supports legal holds to freeze data during investigations. A compliance dashboard summarizes encryption, access, and audit postu

    horcrux

    horcrux

Split your file into encrypted fragments

Horcrux is a command-line tool built in Go that enables you to split a file into encrypted fragments (“horcruxes”) so you don’t need to remember a pass-code for later decryption. It uses the Shamir Secret Sharing scheme to break an encryption key into multiple pieces, such that only a threshold of them can reconstruct the original file. You select the number of fragments to create and the minimum number required to recover the file, then scatter the fragments (e.g., on USBs or cloud locations). The tool provides a “split” command to create the fragments and a “bind” command to recombine them to the original file. It’s especially aimed at people who want strong security for sensitive large files and want to avoid remembering complex pass-codes, and also those who may distribute fragments across multiple locations. The logic is built on Go’s crypto libraries and the underlying Shamir implementation, with an emphasis on simplicity and security rather than password-based keying.

    jPass - Cross-Platform Password Manager

    jPass - Cross-Platform Password Manager

Compiled into a single .jar file. Tiny Password Manager. Portable

I did not see a pre-built version of this software on the original developers Github project (https://github.com/gaborbata/jpass), so I am taking it upon myself to compile the releases as they come, so that others don't have to. --Description-- JPass is a simple, small, portable password manager application with strong encryption. It allows you to store user names, passwords, URLs and generic notes in an encrypted file protected by one master password. I will not add the source here, as I will not be keeping it up to date. Just the releases as they are updated on his/her github. If you require the source, or want to compile on your own, here it is: https://github.com/gaborbata/jpass
