    TraySafe

    TraySafe

Elegant and reliable profile data storage

...The serious perk of the app is that all the info is saved as encrypted data in the data.tsf file in the program directory. The simple yet effective encryption algorithm has a password hash, salt key and vigenère cipher key that are changed with every update. The only thing you have to do when updating is to delete the .tsf files and re-enter all your info again so that it can be encrypted using the new parameters. Detailed How-To can be found in the project wiki.

    v1pad

One-time-pad encryption using a virtual pad

v1pad is a command-line tool that encrypts and decrypts files using one-time-pad encryption. v1pad uses a virtual pad, meaning that the one-time pad is generated dynamically based on user input instead of being stored in a file. The name v1pad is an abbreviation for Virtual One-Time Pad.

    file digest

A command-line utility for calculating and verifying file checksums.

Digest is a command-line utility which can be used to calculate and verify checksums of any files, similar to md5sum or RHash, but using modern hash algorithms. Supported algorithms: BLAKE, BLAKE2, Grøstl, JH, Kupyna, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2, SHA-3, Skein, SM3, Streebog, Whirlpool. Usage: digest [-c] <algorithm> <filename(s)> For example, if you want to calculate the checksums using skein512/256 algorithm, use this command: digest skein512/256 * > checksums.skein To verify the checksums: digest -c skein512/256 checksums.skein You can get a full list of supported algorithms and test the performance of different algorithms on your PC using the command: digest test <iterations> <filename> This will calculate hash sum of <filename> multiple times (number of times is specified by <iterations>) and output the results with precise timings. ...

    XOR encrypt v2.0

    XOR encrypt v2.0

Encrypt Your Text documents with XOR encryption

This software provides an easy graphical way to encrypt your text documents from source code , text files ,scripts even jpeg files .It is a enhanced version of my earlier project https://sourceforge.net/p/xorencrypt which used win32 GUI . This is a demonstration of working of XOR encryption which was used by Germans in World War II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorenz_cipher) . Besides from XOR'ing the message with password after every encryption the key changes pseudorandomly. ...

    FactHash

    Factorial Hashing Function

My first attempt at a one-way hashing class/algoritm, built as a python class. It produces variable length hash from a message block of the size you want. The resulting hash will be ~2x the message block in size, and should provide for at least as many bits of security as the block itself. I updated this, with a different hash than original, since I found a potential collision on some blocks, not but specific to that challenge.
