VICE is an emulator collection which emulates the C64, the C64-DTV, the C128, the VIC20, practically all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610). It runs on Unix, MS-DOS, Win32, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS, BeOS, QNX 6.x, Amiga, GP2X or Mac OS X machines.

Phoenix OS is an Android emulator and operating system that allows you to run Android apps and games on your Windows desktop. It's a free, lightweight desktop environment that includes a taskbar, desktop icons, file management, and multi-window support. Phoenix OS is designed to provide a desktop-like experience on a larger screen. It supports both Intel and AMD processors, but it's more compatible with Intel processors. This application does not contain any games. You need to provide your own legally owned ROM files. J2ME-Loader is a J2ME emulator for Android. It supports most 2D and 3D games (including Mascot Capsule 3D ones). Emulator has a virtual keyboard, individual settings for each application, scaling support. This project is a fork of J2meLoader. Enabling filtering in some cases can greatly reduce performance. Disable this option if the game is too slow. Image flickering issues can be fixed by enabling the "Immediate processing mode" option.

MAME4droid (0.139u1) is developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.139u1 emulator by Nicola Salmoria and TEAM. MAME4droid (0.139u1) emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.139u1. This MAME4droid version is targeted to Dual-Core devices, because it is based on a high specs 2010 PC MAME build. Anyway don't expect arcade games of the 90 to work at full speed. With some games that are really bad optimized (like outrun or mk series) you will need at least a 1.5 ghz dual-core device (Cortex A15). This is related to MAME build used, since it is targeted to high specs PC's as i said before. This version emulates over 8000 different romsets. Please, try to understand that that with that amount of games, some will run better than others and some might not even run with MAME4droid. Please, don't email me asking for a specific game to run. Remix OS is a free Android version made by Jide, the company behind this operating system. This OS comes with certain basic Android features adding some missing functions that are present for Mac and Windows users. You install it on a USB and boot directly from that. Instructions: After starting this VM, enable the Play Store app, by clicking the Settings -> Apps -> Play Store -> Enable. Then, Launch Play Store App, by clicking the 3 vertical dots icon, at the bottom of desktop. Then download whatever app is needed from the Play Store. Quickly, Cancel any automatic downloads of Play Store app ( itself ), from the notification drawer, as this will prevent it from its future working. Disable the Play Store app, after your other app installs are completed. Increase CPU Count and Memory in VM's Settings, as required, for better performance. If you are very new to virtual machines, then please refer the Wiki Page for its setup instructions, for all major operating systems.
