VICE is an emulator collection which emulates the C64, the C64-DTV, the C128, the VIC20, practically all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610). It runs on Unix, MS-DOS, Win32, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS, BeOS, QNX 6.x, Amiga, GP2X or Mac OS X machines.

Binary Modular DataFlow Machine (BMDFM) is a software package that enables running an application in parallel on shared memory symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) computers using the multiple processors to speed up the execution of single applications. BMDFM automatically identifies and exploits parallelism due to the static and mainly dynamic scheduling of the dataflow instruction sequences derived from the formerly sequential program. The BMDFM dynamic scheduling subsystem performs a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) emulation of a tagged-token dataflow machine to provide the transparent dataflow semantics for the applications. A project to develop a tool converts Intel IHEX format or other to machine-depend format. Basically it intends to help cross compiling environment for old-time 8-bit computers.

Pre compiled Windows installer and source is available for all platforms (LINUX, POSIX, OSX, and Windows). To compile you will need make, gcc, and the standard development libraries. There are no difficult dependencies to figure out.
