VICE is an emulator collection which emulates the C64, the C64-DTV, the C128, the VIC20, practically all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610). It runs on Unix, MS-DOS, Win32, OS/2, Acorn RISC OS, BeOS, QNX 6.x, Amiga, GP2X or Mac OS X machines.

Phoenix OS is an Android emulator and operating system that allows you to run Android apps and games on your Windows desktop. It's a free, lightweight desktop environment that includes a taskbar, desktop icons, file management, and multi-window support. Phoenix OS is designed to provide a desktop-like experience on a larger screen. It supports both Intel and AMD processors, but it's more compatible with Intel processors. You can install Phoenix OS to replace Windows or install it alongside Windows in a dual-boot setup. Phoenix OS is a fork of the popular Remix OS. It lacks Google Play Services, but you can easily find the apps you need through APK hosting sites.

Lemuroid is an open-source emulator based on Libretro. It's designed to work on a wide range of devices, from phones to TVs, and to provide the best user experience on Android. It's completely free and without ads. Keep in mind not every device can emulate every console. A very powerful one is required for more recent systems such as PSP and DS and 3DS. This application does not contain any games. You need to provide your own legally owned ROM files. It originated from a rib of Retrograde, but graduated to a standalone project integrating LibretroDroid.

J2ME-Loader is a J2ME emulator for Android. It supports most 2D and 3D games (including Mascot Capsule 3D ones). Emulator has a virtual keyboard, individual settings for each application, scaling support. This project is a fork of J2meLoader. Enabling filtering in some cases can greatly reduce performance. Disable this option if the game is too slow. Image flickering issues can be fixed by enabling the "Immediate processing mode" option.

MAME4droid (0.139u1) is developed by David Valdeita (Seleuco), port of MAME 0.139u1 emulator by Nicola Salmoria and TEAM. MAME4droid (0.139u1) emulates arcade games supported by original MAME 0.139u1. This MAME4droid version is targeted to Dual-Core devices, because it is based on a high specs 2010 PC MAME build. Anyway don't expect arcade games of the 90 to work at full speed. With some games that are really bad optimized (like outrun or mk series) you will need at least a 1.5 ghz dual-core device (Cortex A15). This is related to MAME build used, since it is targeted to high specs PC's as i said before. This version emulates over 8000 different romsets. OpenThos is a free, open-source operating system (OS) based on Android-x86. It's designed to run Android and Linux applications side by side. OpenThos is unique because it was designed with security and privacy in mind. You can run OpenThos on your PC or laptop without installing it.

Remix OS is a free Android version made by Jide, the company behind this operating system. This OS comes with certain basic Android features adding some missing functions that are present for Mac and Windows users. You install it on a USB and boot directly from that. It’s compatible with Intel and AMD processors, so it runs on almost any machine, and unlike other solutions, it has a dedicated desktop user interface just like the operating system you’re already used to. That means that when you open an app, it doesn’t take up the whole screen like it would on an Android tablet; it opens in its own window like any other desktop program. This allows you to use Chrome alongside Word, or Google Maps, or YouTube, or just about any other Android app. Remix OS is totally free to download and use. This is an alternative to running an Android Emulator for Windows.

Instructions: After starting this VM, enable the Play Store app, by clicking the Settings -> Apps -> Play Store -> Enable. Then, Launch Play Store App, by clicking the 3 vertical dots icon, at the bottom of desktop. Then download whatever app is needed from the Play Store. Quickly, Cancel any automatic downloads of Play Store app ( itself ), from the notification drawer, as this will prevent it from its future working. Disable the Play Store app, after your other app installs are completed. Increase CPU Count and Memory in VM's Settings, as required, for better performance. If you are very new to virtual machines, then please refer the Wiki Page for its setup instructions, for all major operating systems. Binary Modular DataFlow Machine (BMDFM) is a software package that enables running an application in parallel on shared memory symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) computers using the multiple processors to speed up the execution of single applications. BMDFM automatically identifies and exploits parallelism due to the static and mainly dynamic scheduling of the dataflow instruction sequences derived from the formerly sequential program. The BMDFM dynamic scheduling subsystem performs a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) emulation of a tagged-token dataflow machine to provide the transparent dataflow semantics for the applications.
