AO-RTOS is a pure object-oriented small footprint real-time operating system for embedded devices. The project is using Active Object (or Actor) concurrency model and finite state machine (FSM) design template as implementation base.

This is a small library that allows comunicating with a Webasto (tm) W-Bus capable car heating system. Runs on Personal Computers or for embedded devices (slim design). Easily portable. Includes a Heater manager, heater controller program and more. The GIT repository (CVS is deprecated) also includes a control unit application to control W-Bus capable devices, a W-Bus compatible heater unit firmware application and a heater simulator for testing purposes. Also, a serial port loop back...

The Hydroponic Automation Platform Initiative (HAPI) develops and provides hardware and software components for automating food production using hydroponic, aquaponics, and precision agriculture techniques. High-yield production in urban settings is one of the primary goals. Artifacts include hardware design (mainly Arduino-based), firmware, management software and reporting modules.

Spaceman Spiff's Chording Keyboard Experiment (or SpiffChorder for short) is an experimental platform for creating a USB chording keyboard. A chording keyboard or Chorded keyboard is an input device where characters can be typed by pressing multiple keys at the same time. A popular design is the 7-key chorder, where one key is used for each of the index finger, middle finger, ring finger and pinky, and 3 keys for the thumb. This can be used with either the left or right hand (or a chorder can be used for each hand, effectively doubling the typing speed). SpiffChorder hardware is based on Atmel AVR ATmega168, using Objective Development's V-USB (a software-only implementation of a low-speed USB device).

Design and implementation of silicon and software for baseband processors conforming to IEEE wireless standards. Initial focus on WiMAX and WiFi.

This project contains the material discussed in my PhD dissertation, entitled "Hardware/Software Design of Dynamic Real-Time Schedulers for Embedded Multiprocessor Systems." The source code is available in the SVN repository: https://sourceforge.net/p/xrt/code/6/tree/trunk/ and consists in two folders: 1) /X-RT : A portable multiprocessor scheduling framework supporting scheduling periodic real-time tasks according to the G-EDF (Global Earliest Deadline First) scheduling platform. ...
