Spamcup WAS a tool for automatic spam reporting via Spamcop.net. It performs the same actions as if you were to report spam to spamcop.net with a Web browser, but from the commandline. Spamcup is written in Perl. NOTE: This code was last updated in 2005. DO NOT RUN THE CODE! Keeping the project public for historical reasons.

This code generates SURBL zone files, used to block spams based on message body URI domains which have been previously reported to SpamCop. SURBL is currently used by SpamCopURI, a SpamAssassin 2.63 plugin. Spam is well-marked with few false positives.

An anti spam system that predates built-in options in Exim, since Exim now has it's own options you should not consider using this code.

SpamAssassin is now a part of the Apache Software Foundation. Our code, web site, and mailing lists (in other words, everything) are now part of the Apache SpamAssassin project. All code that remains here is old unsupported and not Apache.
