...Email is sent to a particular user on your host and the commands will be carried out if the user and password given matches ones in /etc/passwd. Commands are executed with the user's privileges, and combined with a PGP module ensures a certain level of security for use. Note that the system is not natively encrypted, so use of an encryption mechanism is highly recommended for security reasons. -

First goal - replace pine with an open souce work-alike using perl. Second - add an SQL backend to Mail::Box, and thus to oserp. Third - Port to C++, using GNU MailUtils as the backend.

Using a variety of options it recurses through MIME encapsulations printing all text or text-like sections, and noting non-text sections. It's output is highly configurable.

Spamcup WAS a tool for automatic spam reporting via Spamcop.net. It performs the same actions as if you were to report spam to spamcop.net with a Web browser, but from the commandline.
