Alliance CAD System is a free set of EDA tools and portable cell libraries for VLSI design. It covers the design flow from VHDL up to layout. It includes VHDL simulator, RTL synthesis, place and route, netlist extractor, DRC, layout editor.

The developed graphical interface is based on the SKILL language which is a Lisp dialect used as a scripting language and PCell (Parameterized Cells) description language used in many EDA software suites by Cadence Design Systems.

Gathering information of various kinds such as temperature, light, switches, position sensors is provided by Stantor permanently in real time. Through the use of management system MySQL database, Stantor offers automation features customizable tasks.
