The Common Open Research Emulator (CORE) is a tool for emulating networks on one or more machines. You can connect these emulated networks to live networks. CORE consists of a GUI for drawing topologies of lightweight virtual machines, and Python modules for scripting network emulation.
...It is meant to use content created using the Content Authoring Tool (a web based tool distributed as a separate open source package) and provides an interface for students to complete assignments, which are automatically graded in real time. The software also allow students to export their completed assignments to a USB drive to share with their teachers for further feedback.
