A Simple RPG fighting game for teaching Python
Of Mages and Magic is an RPG based fighting game which may be used to teach simple programming concepts. Students write artificial intelligences which hook into the main Of Mages and Magic executable. These mages can be organised into teams which fight each other until only one team remains. A game for Toddlers (ages 1-4) that teaches letter and number sounds and has other basic educational items. This is written in C# using SDL. It is being written on Linux, but should run on anything that has Mono (or .NET) and SDL.

I'm using this to make an Open Source game from scratch. By now it's only me, so it will take some time, but I'll keep you posted. The idea is to make a 3D plattform game using OpenGL, SDL and C++, and then extend it to use OpenAL.
