OpenPoppy is an artificial intelligence program that will be ideally used by people wanting to practice their English language skills. it was created using c# and Microsoft visual studio. until recently OpenPoppy is a console based program and recognizes and responds to the user, enabling them to practice there English language skills. this is the next stage in the programs development. This form based AI developed in c# is a recreation of my previous console based application. development has now stoped on that project but can still be found at http://www.openpoppy.info and at https://sourceforge.net/projects/artificialintelligence/

...Though the features are not what you would expect from a program written and sold by a corporation, you may find it an entertaining tool Also notice that no installation is required, meaning it will not put annoying icons on your desktop and start menu, and you are free to delete it at will. If you know coding, be sure to check out the source code, which is in the form of a zipped-up Visual Studio solution. If you would like to import some of the functions into your own project, the code is free to be used.

...Some of features were simplified or cut out (eg. plugins were statically built into project rather than loaded dynamically) to meet the deadline. Application provided in the version is functional and stable. The project is planned to be developed further.

...There has been a Windows Mobile version for quite some time, but it slipped my mind to post it. It has been on my hard drive. It's for Windows Mobile 5, 6, and I completed the version for Windows Mobile 7.1. I have been working on a version for Android, using Monodroid. I don't have an Android, and I used their evaluation version. It compiled without errors, but the emulator takes too long too long to load. I'm not sure if their testing tools even work properly, but the code is in a folder in the files section. I will be updating the project soon.

...Soon I'll start it's development from scratch but this time it'll be built in PHP, MySQL with a rich set of features and more intuitive, easy to use interface. For this I need volunteer developers and designers, who can help me in it's development. I'll create a separate Project Home Page for this project. Interested developers and designers can contact me via email through my SF profile page. Regards, Neeraj Semwal Author: Project Parikshan
