...The release is a repaired version using the original developer's bug fixes, patching 1.3.8a from 2007 to 2010. The name Zen Cart is only applied to the version that is patched using the Zen Cart developer's code.

This piece of code uses Perl and qx// calls to OpenSSL and to other small Perl scripts, to follow the RFC-4130. At 2009-09-09, the project works fine with encrypted, signed, binary and base64 . Read the README file inside the tar.gz for details

WARNING: DO NOT USE I wrote this code over 15 years ago and it is, and was, clearly commented that it is NOT SECURE. More importantly, however, it's really just a demo. Don't use it for production code without thoroughly reviewing it. Specifically, it lacks secure session ID's and has not been reviewed for XSS, SQL Injection, CSRF... WARNING #2: This code is written for php3.
