The hydrological model HYPE is developed at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI). The model simulates water, nutrients and other substances in small and large river catchments. Included in the project is HYSS, which is needed to run the model. A Landsat 8 scene viewer
Viewpix allows the user to load all eleven bands of a Landsat 8 Level 1 data set into memory concurrently. You can scroll and view each band at full resolution. Change bands instantly with a single key press. Band 8 is 15 meters resolution, all other bands are 30m resolution. A 30m resolution gray scale scene is generated by Viewpix and is presented as band 12. Each Landsat 8 scene is roughly 190 X 180 kilometers. The Coastline Evolution Model (CEM), originally developed by Ashton et al. (2001), Ashton and Murray (2006) and Valvo et al. (2006), is a reduced complexity, one-line sediment transport model that simulates the evolution of coastlines via wave-driven alongshore sediment transport. The original CEM has no Graphical User Interface (GUI) and does not provide graphical visualisations during model runs. The modified version given here includes these features. This project forms part of a wider research project and further developments on this model are anticipated. -
