Open Source PHP DVD Software

A simple DVD database to keep track of your personal DVD library. Moves are automatically linked to IMDb. You can assign the genre and include DVD covers as well. You can also use this database to keep track of individuals that borrow your movies.

This project is designed to be a simple to use local DVD trade system. The system is based around one central user who wants to trade DVDs with friends or family. A simple user login system keeps track of who is currently borrowing each DVD.

Filmliste is a PHP enabled media management system which you can use to track your DVDs, BluRay discs or even VHS cassettes. It has a feature called "coverview" which displays your movies just the way they would look on a shelf.

flickThing is a php-script that keeps catalogs of your movies and tracks who you lend your copy of Star Wars DVD and how long ago.

Movielog Ultra intends to be a personal online movie catalog programed in PHP/Mysql. You can have your personal movie collection organized and accesible from anywhere. You can have info like movie description, actors, plot, trailers, disk id\'s etc.

A PHP media manager for video and audio file collections. It scans for files, groups them, references against IMDB where appropriate, then allows them to be streamed using Flash.

The libdvdetect library provides fast lookup of DVDs, similar to existing services for CDs like Gracenote, freeDB or MusicBrainz. The DVD Detection Library (libdvdetect) is a library to lookup DVDs in a database and provide information about e.g. title, UPC/EAN or even cover arts. It is OS-independent and compiles for Windows or Unix operating systems. Mac support is also planned. What the library does not provide is DVD ripping and decryption. It reads the structure (e.g. titles and chapters) and generates a special checksum to look up the database. More details at http://www.dvdetect.de. The database can also be searched using a web browser at http://search.dvdetect.de/. For those who are curious I suggest downloading the binaries from https://sourceforge.net/projects/libdvdetect/files/binaries/ to try it out (windows only).
