YaCy is a free search engine that anyone can use to build search the internet (www and ftp) or to create a search portal for others (internet or intranet). The scale of YaCy is limited only by the number of users and can index billions of webpages. In p2p mode it is fully decentralized, all users of the search engine network are equal and it is not possible for anyone to censor the content of the distributed index.
RT-BOINC stands for a Real-Time BOINC. It was designed for managing highly-interactive, short-term, and massively-parallel real-time applications.
We implemented RT-BOINC on top of the recent BOINC server source codes.
IMPFarm is a renderfarm for the POV-Ray raytracer. All communication is via http with XML documents. Servers and clients are cross platform. Management and reporting is done using webpages.
Mobilemaps is a Nearby Engine which allows users to find Webpages by location. Extremely fast and capable of scaling to any number
of pages, it supports OpenGIS map-servers and uses MySQL, Perl and C.
WebCounters is a Web Service written in Java which provides web counter, web ring, and web statistics services through JAX-RPC API. The services can also be accessed through simple HTTP GET so that they can be easily incorporated into existing webpages.
Peekabooty is a peer-to-peer application which can route web page requests around firewalls. This is done by asking hosts in the network that are not censored to fetch censored webpages.
