NetworkService is a Java network API that simplifies development of LAN-based applications. It allows programmer to build locatable, state-monitorable software modules and exchange data between them in a peer-to-peer fashion. These modules can be given 'meaningful' names (Tom, FileServer1, Printer2..etc) instead of static IP address. NetworkService's project also provides SawaTalk - a server-less chat application (bundled with the final version of NetworkService ). NiBaWS is a WebService implementing many of the functions provided by Passport.NET. Each WebMaster may supply user identification and administration (including Single Sign-On) simply using SOAP messages.

NoCsim is a base library and front end for simulating Network On Chip environments utilizing Wormhole or Virtual Cut-Through routers. The current usage of the simulator includes experimentation with various routing protocols and functional unit mappings.

The Numenta Platform for Intelligent Computing (NuPIC) is a machine intelligence platform that implements the HTM learning algorithms. HTM is a detailed computational theory of the neocortex. At the core of HTM are time-based continuous learning algorithms that store and recall spatial and temporal patterns. NuPIC is suited to a variety of problems, particularly anomaly detection and prediction of streaming data sources. For more information, see numenta.org or the NuPIC Forum. If you want to build the dependent nupic.bindings from source, you should build and install from nupic.core prior to installing nupic (since a PyPI release will be installed if nupic.bindings isn't yet installed). To install from local source code, run from the repository root. We plan to do minor releases only, and limit changes in NuPIC and NuPIC Core to features needed to support ongoing research.
