Abaddon
An alternative Discord client with voice support made with C++ and GTK
Alternative Discord client made in C++ with GTK. Abaddon tries its best (though is not perfect) to make Discord think it's a legitimate web client. Some of the things done to do this include: using a browser user agent, sending the same IDENTIFY message that the official web client does, using API v9 endpoints in all cases, and not using endpoints the web client does not normally use. There are still a few smaller inconsistencies, however. For example the web client sends lots of telemetry via the /science endpoint (uBlock origin stops this) as well as in the headers of all requests. Discord likes disabling accounts/forcing them to reset their passwords if they think the user is a spam bot or potentially had their account compromised. While the official client still often gets users caught in the spam filter, third party clients tend to upset the spam filter more often. If you get caught by it, you can usually appeal it and get it restored. -

This just a simple Discord client for the 3DS build using the Sleepy Discord library and the Wslay library. Also please, notice that this is not an official Discord client, and is not made by the Discord staff. I noticed that a few Discord clients for consoles were using the Discord API incorrectly causing huge issues for those clients. So, I decided to make this as an example of how I think it should have been done. First, you need a token to an account that you own, because Discord doesn't want people asking for passwords. Anyway, place this into a file called discord token.txt in the root of your sd card. -

JDA strives to provide a clean and full wrapping of the Discord REST api and its Websocket-Events for Java. This library is a helpful tool that provides the functionality to create a discord bot in java. Discord is currently prohibiting the creation and usage of automated client accounts (AccountType.CLIENT). We have officially dropped support for client login as of version 4.2.0! Note that JDA is not a good tool to build a custom discord client as it loads all servers/guilds on startup, unlike a client which does this via lazy loading instead. If you need a bot, use a bot account from the Application Dashboard. Creating the JDA Object is done via the JDABuilder class. After setting the token and other options via setters, the JDA Object is then created by calling the build() method. When build() returns, JDA might not have finished starting up. However, you can use await ready() on the JDA object to ensure that the entire cache is loaded before proceeding. -

Are you worried Discord is watching what programs you have open or listening to your mic even while you're not pressing your push-to-talk key? Discord-Sandbox isolates the Discord client from reading background processes by running the Discord web client inside of a webview, which is finally contained inside the Electron process. While I cannot guarantee this client protects you from anything, I have tried my best to remove Discord's data collection. As detailed from Luna Mendes' discord-unofficial-docs, Discord sends telemetry data over the /api/science endpoint. This project does its best to disable this telemetry communication by running javascript code into the webview that adds a blacklist/whitelist to the default XMLHttpRequest behavior. In this way, we explicitly block all communication with the science address, while simultaneously whitelisting addresses needed for minimum Discord functionality. Discord's TOS forbids the use of third-party clients, thus use at your own risk! Download the latest build from Releases. Extract it to the root of the SD card you use for your switch. You do need to reboot your system, otherwise, the sysmodule won't start running. After rebooting you can open NXCord in the homebrew menu and you will see a login screen if it's your first time using it. Selfbotting means that you are using a third-party client to access discord with a user account. It's against the TOS of discord, thus not recommended. I've been using a user account for testing for months already and haven't been banned yet. Might be safe, but I am not responsible for any bans! -

A simple Discord Terminal UI written in Crystal. Self-bots are not allowed by Discord's Terms of Service. Using crcophony could technically count as using a self-bot. Use this project at your own risk, it isn't my fault if it gets you banned. That being said, I'm trying my best to ensure the application is as safe as possible. A lightweight Discord client which uses GTK3 for the user interface. Because the official client is lagging too hard for me to ignore. gtkcord3 won't be receiving any new features.
