A whole-program optimizing compiler for Standard ML
MLton is a whole-program optimizing compiler for Standard ML. MLton generates small executables with excellent runtime performance, utilizing untagged and unboxed native integers, reals, and words, unboxed native arrays, fast arbitrary-precision arithmetic based on GnuMP, and multiple code generation and garbage collection strategies. In addition, MLton provides a feature rich Standard ML programming environment, with full support for SML97 as given in The Definition of Standard ML (Revised), a number of useful language extensions, a complete implementation of the Standard ML Basis Library, various useful libraries, a simple and fast C foreign function interface, the ML Basis system for programming with source libraries, and tools such as a lexer generator, a parser generator, and a profiler.

Foreign Language Text Reader
FLTR (Foreign Language Text Reader) - A Handy App For Language Learning. FLTR helps you to do both extensive and intensive reading as part of your foreign language acquisition in an easy and pleasant way. While reading, you look up unknown words in web dictionaries (you must be online to do so) and save vocabulary terms (words and multi-word expressions) with translations, romanization (like Pinyin, Hiragana, etc., optional) and example sentence (optional). Each term has also a learning status (1/"Unknown" to 5/"Known", plus Statuses "Ignored" and "Well Known") with an associated color. The saved words will automatically show up with all their data and status in all texts in the same language. They can be easily imported into flashcard software like Anki or Mnemosyne via the export function. Read more - download: FLTR_Documentation.pdf
Extract the TLD of any, world wide, URI.
The libtld is used to extract the TLD from any URI from anywhere in the world. The library recognizes all TLDs, whatever the number of levels the TLD includes (i.e. .com has one, .au has up to 4 such as .schools.nsw.edu.au) this library will be capable of extracting it. The library is for C, C++, and PHP.
RNA editing detection by NGS data
REDItools are python scripts developed with the aim to study RNA editing at genomic scale by next generation sequencing data. RNA editing is a post-transcriptional phenomenon involving the insertion/deletion or substitution of specific bases in precise RNA localizations. In human, RNA editing occurs by deamination of cytosine to uridine (C-to-U) or mostly by the adenosine to inosine (A-to-I) conversion through ADAR enzymes. A-to-I substitutions may have profound functional consequences and have been linked to a variety of human diseases including neurological and neurodegenerative disorders or cancer. Next generation sequencing technologies offer the unique opportunity to investigate in depth RNA editing even though no dedicated software has been released up to now. REDItools are simple python scripts conceived to facilitate the investigation of RNA editing at large-scale and devoted to research groups that would to explore such phenomenon in own data.

Computational Suite For Bioinformaticians and Biologists
CSBB is a command line based bioinformatics suite to analyze biological data acquired through varied avenues of biological experiments. CSBB is implemented in Perl, while it also leverages the use of R, java and ruby in background for specific modules. Major focus of CSBB is to allow users from biology and bioinformatics community, to get benefited by performing down-stream analysis tasks while eliminating the need to write programming code. CSBB is currently available on Linux, UNIX and Windows platforms. Currently CSBB provides 17 modules focused on analytical tasks like normalization, visualization, statistics, RNA-SEQ etc.

A binary waveform synthesizer based on Timewave Zero
A binary waveform synthesizer derived from and based upon Timewave Zero theory by Terence McKenna. His theory proposes that the structure of time is a complex wave with a scalar potential, and the King Wen sequence of the I Ching is the 64 hexagram code from which the waveform of time is derived; that the King Wen sequence maps the linear progression of the human states of mind, which ultimately substantiates this waveform. This theory is the basis for the well-known novelty computer program he and others had developed. This program synth was made in supercollider.

Static code analysis to find violations in a dependency graph
PhpDependencyAnalysis is an extendable static code analysis for object-oriented PHP-Projects to generate dependency graphs from abstract datatypes (Classes, Interfaces and Traits) based on namespaces. Dependencies can be aggregated to build graphs for several levels, like Package-Level or Layer-Level. Each dependency can be verified to a defined architecture.
