Tiny C compiler, programmed in C with compiler/linker/assembler included. VERY fast and mainly usable as a library. WIN32 port of the http://tinycc.org version. Compiles code to memory currently, perhaps disk soon. Go to the homepage for more info.
The purpose of this project was to prepare gfortran for integration into gcc. Since this integration was completed in the summer of 2003, this project is now finished. You can find information about gfortran on http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortran/
RLaB is a high level programming language targeted at engineering applications. Rlab is _not_ a clone of languages like Matlab. Though, it can be called "MATLAB-like" since the programming language possesses similar operators and concepts.
The intention of this project is to give all serious users of the SNNS a place where they find a bugfix and patch management and where they get useful information about the SNNS.
BSPonMPI is an implementation of the BSPlib standard on top of MPI. Both MPI and BSPlib are API's of communication routines meant for parallel computing, but BSPlib is easier to learn and its performance easier to predict.
Cuts 3D objects from polystyrene foam (EPS/XPS)
A robotic DIY styrofoam cutter consisting of one rotational and two translational axes. It cuts a variety of shapes out of styrofoam-like materials using a hot wire. This project documents the necessary hardware and software parts. Don't miss the follow-up project at http://raumschaum.org Its goal is to further develop hardware and software into an user friendly application.
Project has been move to https://github.com/ciaa/Firmware
The project is not more active, we have fix a lot of issue and perform many improvements. These are now deliverd as part of a new project: https://github.com/ciaa/Firmware ---- FreeOSEK is a scalable solution for embedded system. FreeOSEK OS is based on OSEK RTOS specification (OSEK-VDX). visit us in: http://opensek.sourceforge.net
PKS is an OpenPGP Public Key Server. It allows users to store and lookup public keys from the server's database. It can also synchronize with other servers. (This product includes software developed by Marc Horowitz.)
PileWorks provides the organizational structure for coordinating several different projects which approach some aspect of Pile Technology. PileWorks defines a set of interfaces and implements some basic infrastructure for Pile engines and agents.
Guide on porting Contiki to new hardware platforms + extensive Contiki OS port for the Semtech LoRaMote platform (STM32L1). The STM32L1XX Standard Peripherals Library and LoRaMac project were used to implement the microcontroller's components, radio transceiver and sensors. Tested with Contiki 2.6 and Contiki 3. https://github.com/contiki-os/contiki https://github.com/Lora-net/LoRaMac-node http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/embedded-software/mcus-embedded-software/stm32-embedded-software/stm32-standard-peripheral-libraries/stsw-stm32077.html
The DMX software has been integrated into the X.org server software. Please download directly from X.org instead of from SourceForge. The code here is old and is no longer updated.
LavaRnd is a random number generator that converts a digitized chaotic source (such as a lens capped web camera) into cryptographically strong random numbers. LavaRnd comes with both an APIs (currently C and Perl) as well as a number of demos.
This is the last know development of Yeti3D before the project was shelved. It was a nice engine in its time, and might have code in it still worth something to someone. Its a portable 3D game engine with fast software rendering.

The DNA Sequence Read Toolkit is a set of programs to convert data from DNA sequencing instruments into formats suitable for archiving, viewing or for onward processing (for example alignment or assembly).
Cis-element prediction tool from microarray data
We developed a novel clustering-free method, microarray-associated motif analyzer (MAMA), to predict novel cis-acting elements based on weighted sequence similarities and gene expression profiles in microarray analyses. Simulation of gene expression was performed using a support vector machine and based on the presence of predicted motifs and motif pairs. The accuracy of simulated gene expression was used to evaluate the quality of prediction and to optimize the parameters used in this method. After optimization, MAMA accurately simulated more than 87% of gene expression. See Kakei Y, Ogo Y, Itai RN, et al. (2013) Development of a novel prediction method of cis-elements to hypothesize collaborative functions of cis-element pairs in iron-deficient. Rice 6(1): 22.
SketchyLISP is a highly portable, embeddable interpreter for purely applicative Scheme.
Use map data to plan hikes or explore new areas. Includes 3D maps of terrain rendered in real-time; trace trails across the terrain and get height verses distance profiles; tile together adjacent maps to create seamless map areas. Reads USGS SDTS files.
NOTE: This project is now inactive. There will be no more updates. The CVL library and tools use the graphics processing unit (GPU) for image and data processing. CVLView is a 2D and 3D viewer for arbitrary data sets. CVLTonemap is an interactive tone mapping tool for high dynamic range (HDR) images.
Cybervision is a 3D reconstruction software for SEM images
Project has moved Github at https://github.com/zlogic/cybervision Cybervision is a 3D reconstruction software for SEM images. It's an abandoned project, but can be useful as a working example for many, many technologies, such as: * Qt (including threads, vectors, graphics and OpenGL) * Eigen library (http://eigen.tuxfamily.org/) * libsift library (https://sourceforge.net/projects/libsift/) * OpenCL and of course, 3D reconstruction in general.
The VP7 WKP is a GTK program which simulates the decay of radioactive nuclei. The user can do decay/activity measurements on various pre- or user defined materials. It is also possible to study the effectivity of aluminium, paper and lead as shields. This
The Octtools, a CAD system to promote research and education in microelectronics developed by Berkeley. Includes synthesis, placement and routing tools. Current development aims towards utilising current process technologies.
