A script to find open Wi-Fi connections and the strongest signal
AutoAP is a script that continuously scans for open Wi-Fi connections, tests them for validity, and connects to the strongest signal. If the connection is lost, the script scans again and finds the strongest valid signal again, and maintains a continuous connection to the internet in a mobile or portable environment. The script paremeters are highly configurable, including ability to configure secure connections. AutoAP is an add on to DD-WRT that allows routers to continuously scan for and connect to open (and predefined WEP) wireless networks. Ultimately the goal is to develop an easily deployable firmware that facilitates fast and easy mesh network creation. Typically, you would use this script on your router while in Repeater Mode, Client Mode, or Client-Bridged Mode.

Your linux deployment tool!
m23 is a free software distribution system (license: GPL), that installs (via network, starting with partitioning and formatting) and administrates (updates, adds / removes software, adds / removes scripts) clients with Debian, (X/K)Ubuntu, LinuxMint, openSUSE, Fedora and CentOS. It is used for deployment of Linux clients in schools, institutions and enterprises. The m23 server is controlled via a web interface. A new m23 client can be installed easily in only three steps. Group functions and mass installation tools make managing a vast number of clients comfortable. The integration of existing clients (with .deb-based distributions) into the system is possible, too. Client backup and server backup are included to avoid data loss. With the integrated virtualisation software, m23 can create and manage virtual m23 clients, that run on real m23 clients or the m23 server. Scripts and software packages (for installation on clients) can be created directly from the m23 web interface.

As such, wmlive is fully compatible with and relies on the official Debian/Jessie repositories for security updates and bug fixes. Refer to http://wmlive.rumbero.org for more detailed information and even more screenshots.

Fan Made RebeccaBlackOS. With Wayland.
I got the idea to name a Linux distribution after my favorite celebrity after I saw some earlier Linux distributions named after celebrities, and also this KDE blog post. http://ivan.fomentgroup.org/blog/2011/05/02/splash-screens-and-qml/ This is amongst the first live distributions to provide a Wayland server. There is a 32 bit and 64 bit ISO (It does NOT have her copyrighted music, or photos on the ISO. You have to buy her music legally on iTunes (or Amazon, etc))) The build scripts in the SVN is available for you to modify and build your own version of this project. This distribution is 3RD PARTY fan made. Yes. I am a fan of Rebecca Black. The latest ISO now has a login manager for Wayland, and now it has removed X from the startup path of the system.
