Advanced mission simulation and analysis tool
The Orbit Determination Toolbox (ODTBX) is developed by the Navigation & Mission Design branch at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center as an advanced mission simulation and analysis tool used for concept exploration, proposal, early design phase, and/or rapid design center environments. ODTBX functions and utilities are combined in a flexible architecture that allows for modular development of navigation algorithms and simulations. The core ODTBX functionality is realized through a set of estimation commands that incorporate Monte Carlo data simulation, linear covariance analysis, and measurement processing at a generic level.
This project, developed at UCL London, provides code for tomographic reconstruction. NiftyRec is written in C and has Python and Matlab extensions. Computationally intensive functions have a GPU accelerated version based on CUDA.

Massive Object Tracking Software (Matlab/Python)

Scanning Probe Image Wizard - MATLAB Toolbox
SPIW is a MATLAB toolbox, for automated processing of scanning probe microscope images. Tools are applicable to all SPM images, but the main focus is on images with atomic or molecular resolution. SPIW is primarily a MATLAB toolbox with functions designed to be called in a user's own script. SPIW also has a very basic GUI for browsing and exporting images. A related open-source project SPIEPy (https://pypi.python.org/pypi/SPIEPy/) is developing a python library to for automated SPM imaged enhancement. RAFTS3 can perform high-speed protein search comparisons locally using a desktop computer or laptop. RAFTS3 performed searches many times faster than those with BLASTp against large protein databases such as NR and Pfam, with a small loss of sensitivity depending on the similarity degree of the sequences. RAFTS3 is a new alternative for fast comparison of protein sequences, genome annotation and biological data mining.
