This project serves as a collection of different free software projects that I'm working on. The major ones are currently "HFSExplorer", "DMGExtractor", and "NTFS-3G for Mac OS X".

Super Audio CD Decoder input plugin for foobar2000. Decoder is capable of playing back Super Audio CD ISO images, DSDIFF, DSF and DSD WavPack files. Direct DSD playback for compatible devices.
Control groups, a new kernel feature in Linux 2.6.24 provides a file system interface to manipulate and control the details on task grouping including creation of new task groups (control groups), permission handling and task assignment. Please mail the mailing list for any communication. No one monitors the trackers/forums.
Most digital cameras produce EXIF files, which are JPEG files with extra tags that contain information about the image. The EXIF library allows you to parse an EXIF file and read the data from those tags.
Run Windows applications on Linux, BSD, Solaris, and Mac OS X
Wine is an Open Source implementation of the Windows API on top of X and Unix. Wine provides both a development toolkit for porting Windows sources to Unix and a program loader, allowing many unmodified Windows binaries to run on x86-based Unixes.
gPhoto is a program and library framework that lets users download pictures from their digital cameras. The libgphoto2 library gives you access to hundreds of models of digital cameras on several platforms. GIT repo and Issue tracker lives at https://github.com/gphoto/ these days.
pngcrush and other tools for manipulating PNG (Portable Network Graphics) and MNG (Multiple-image Network Graphics) files.
A comprehensive software suite for reading barcodes. Supports EAN/UPC, Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5 and QR Code. Includes libraries and applications for decoding captured barcode images and using a video device (eg, webcam) as a barcode scanner.
Open-source, free, multi-platform BASIC compiler, with syntax similar MS-QuickBASIC (including the GFX statements), that adds new features such as pointers, unsigned data types, inline assembly, a pre-processor and many others.
A free COBOL compiler
GnuCOBOL (formerly OpenCOBOL) is a free COBOL compiler. cobc translates COBOL source to executable using intermediate C, designated C compiler and linker. OpenCOBOL 1.1 became GNU Cobol 1.1 in 2013. GnuCOBOL 2.2 is the latest, version 3.0 is on its way. A programmer's guide, by Gary Cutler and Vincent Coen, is indexed at https://open-cobol.sourceforge.io together with more documentation. OpenCOBOL was written by Keisuke Nishida and Roger While, from 2001 to 2012. GnuCOBOL is also authored by Simon Sobisch, Ron Norman, Edward Hart, Sergey Kashyrin, Dave Pitts and Brian Tiffin. Library to control radio transceivers and receivers
The Hamlib project's purpose is to develop flexible and portable shared libraries that offer a standardized API to control any radio oriented equipment through a computer interface.
The open-vm-tools project provides a suite of open source virtualization utilities and drivers to improve the functionality and user experience of virtualization. The project currently runs in guest operating systems under VMware virtualization.

This is a library for easy accessing chip cards /smart cards via a chipcard reader. It currently works under Linux, FreeBSD and Windows. It is tested with Towitoko and Kobil readers.
libdmtx is a software library that enables programs to read and write Data Matrix (or "DataMatrix") 2D barcodes. It runs on several platforms, and can be accessed by multiple languages. The package provides fully featured command line utilities.
