A homebrew video suite for game consoles
A homebrew software suite for video game consoles developed to help in the evaluation of upscalers, upscan converters, line doublers and of course TV processing of 240p video. The Wii and Dreamcast versions have modes for 480i and 480p evaluation as well. It has tests designed with the processing of 240p signals in mind, although when possible it includes other video modes and specific tests for them. These have been tested with video processors on real hardware and a variety of displays, including CRTs and Arcade monitors via RGB. As a secondary target, the suite aims to provide tools for calibrating colors, black and white levels for specific console outputs and setups. Current platforms are: Sega Genesis (Mega Drive), Sega CD (Mega CD), PC Engine/Turbografx-16, Super CD-ROM2/CD-ROM2, NES/Famicom, Super Nintendo/Super Famicom, Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Wii and GameCube.

pgtclng (PostgreSQL Tcl Next-Generation) is a loadable Tcl module for accessing PostgreSQL databases. It was forked from pgtcl in Feb 2004, moved to pgfoundy.org in Aug 2006 and to Sourceforge.net in Mar 2011. Its API is a superset of the pure-Tcl companion project pgintcl.
An open source Acars decoder with rtl_sdr frontend
Acarsdec is an open source, multi-channels realtime ACARS decoder for Linux. It features : - up to four channels decoded simultaneously - error detection AND correction - input from sound file , alsa sound card or software defined radio (SRD) via a rtl dongle (http://sdr.osmocom.org/trac/wiki/rtl-sdr) or airspy (http://www.airspy.com) - could send decoded acars to a server via UDP in planeploter format or its own dedicated format. The 4 channels decoding is particularly useful with the rtl dongle. It allows to directly listen simultaneously to 4 different frequencies , with a very low cost hardware. Since version 3.0, acarsdec comes with acarsserv : a database backend program to store received acars messages.

ACME is a free cross assembler released under the GNU GPL. It can produce code for the following processors: 6502, 6510 (including illegal opcodes), 65c02 and 65816. ACME supports the standard assembler stuff like global/local/anonymous labels, offset assembly, conditional assembly and looping assembly. It can include other source files as well as binaries while assembling. Calculations can be done in integer or float mode. Oh, and it is fast.
AEBL is a mobile media distribution system
AEBL Mobile Media Player, changing how we consume media. AEBL is a media player and a digital media platform in use in the IHDN XPO network media system ( http://www.ihdn.ca/Xpo_VI.html ). AEBL is foremost a mobile media distribution and playback framework. It was created to be the core technology that is used in a television ad insertion and digital sign, and further development has opened up many more applications. It currently is designed to run on a raspberry Pi, although it is being ported to other systems. Advanced GTK+ Sequencer is intended to use for music composition. It features a piano roll, as well a synth, matrix editor, drum machine, soundfont2 player, mixer and an output panel. It's designed to be highly configurable, you may add effects to its effect chain, add or remove audio channels/pads. You may set up a fully functional network of engines, therefore exists a link editor for linking audio lines. In conjunction with ags you need a realtime kernel and alsa support. `ags` uses conditional locks to keep several threads in sync that's why you need at least a preemptible kernel.
Data structures and Algorithms library
Aleph-w is a library of data structures and algorithms implemented in and for C++. It contains the main data structures: single and double lists, special arrays (dynamic and of bits), many types of trees: multitrees, binary search trees, avl, red-black, randomized, treaps, splay and other interesting types. Several types of hash tables are implemented: separated chaining, open adressing with linear probing and double function hash; this last one has a garbage colector mechanism that allows to free deleted entries. Dynamic linear hash tables are implemented too. The main algorithms on graphs are implemented in an easy way and with good performance features. Network Flow (maximum and min cost), cut points, topological sort, spanning trees, min paths. etc. The graphs are generic in the sense that they can contain data independent of the algorithm. Several containers of the C++ STL library are implemented with Aleph-w. Their performance is better than GNU implementation
