Emulator of the ancient 8 bit microprocessor SC/MP 2
Emulator of the ancient 8 bit microprocessor ISP-8A 500D/600D or more common "SC/MP" from National Semiconductor. The download contains all sources plus an executable Java Jar file to start right away. Some SC/MP hex dump examples are provided in directory "/etc" as well. The download also contains unit tests and some helping documentation (also in /etc). You may slow down the CPU operations, displaying the CPUs status register as LEDs, to watch the CPU working with its registers. The emulator also contains a VDU (video display unit) output / ASCII input simulation. There are some demos in /etc. And have a look to the NIBL / TINY BASIC interpreter in the TINYBASIC folder, most of the code is over 40 years old! The C cross-compiler, written in Java, directly compiles C Code into SC/MP machine code. The U.S. Geological Survey's Integrated Software for Imagers and Spectrometers (Isis) is not available for Windows, yet some Windows-only software is often used in conjunction with Isis, including Esri's ArcGIS® and BAE Systems' SOCET SET®. To address this situation, I developed andIsis (from the excellent software coLinux and andLinux) to bring Isis 3.3.1 to Windows via 1) a wizard-style setup executable 2) visually seamless, hybrid virtualization of a Linux kernel 3) a feature-rich utility to communicate with the Linux shell 4) an interface for managing Isis 3 The result is a completely out-of-the-box end user experience comparable to that on any platform that natively supports Isis; the ability to call both Windows and Linux software, like Isis, from a single script; and cooperative management of system resources that is superior to traditional virtualization and perhaps even more efficient. 32-bit Alpha ETA: fall 2012 64-bit Alpha ETA: early 2013 (?)
An Atari family machine builder and emulator.
Long time ago, I've written (and never published) an Atari falcon emulator doing cycle accurate simulation of the machine. This new software will allow to build a new Atari machine block per block starting from scratch of from an already existing Atari computer architecture. You will be able to add/remove/duplicate/modify one of its blocks (core processor, audio unit, graphical unit, ...) and then you can try to run old atari software onto it.
