An unofficial VMware® ESX/ESXi Manager for Linux
vEMan - [v]Mware [E]SX [Man]ager provides a GUI for managing ESX servers natively from within your Linux desktop without the need to use Windows vSphere® anymore! Support vEMan development for v2.0 by gofundme! http://www.gofundme.com/vEMan Why I started vEMan? Because I hate it to start my Windows VM to manage ESX(i) servers ;o) vEMan is (maybe) not needed if you use vCenter 5.x: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2005377 --> vSphere >= v5 has a "web client" BUT keep in mind that there are caveats: Not all features are available in the web client AND it can connect to vCenters only (see: http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1006095) - ESX(i) v3.x or 4.x? - v5.x - but no vCenter? - you want a native Linux vSphere client? Then try vEMan! ------- vEMan is not published or pronounced by VMware Inc. vEMan is an OpenSource project from a private person without any warranty or claim to bother VMware Inc. VMware,vSphere,ESX/ESXi,vCenter are trademarks by VMware Inc.
Android virtual machines running on Openstack Clouds
This is the first ever project that ports Android OS into an image that can be used to create Android virtual machines running on Openstack clouds with full virtualisation support. Currently we only support Android 4.4 Kitkat 64bit distribution. Instructons on how to create the image yourself: http://thisismyeye.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/enabling-virtio-drivers-on-kernel-for.html This image is not perfect yet. Contributors are welcome! This work is done by Chathura Madhusanka Sarathchandra Magurawalage as a part of his research activities at Network Convergence Laboratory (NCL), University Of Essex Related Research Projects: *EU-funded FP7 Project MONICA (Mobile Cloud Computing: Networks, Services and Architecture). *EU-funded FP7 Project CLIMBER (Cross-Layer Investigation and Integration of Computing and Networking Aspects of Mobile Social Networks). *EU-funded FP7 Project EVANS (End-to-end Virtual Resource Management..)

RhinoLINUX Lite is a powerful full featured OS that is easy to use
RhinoLINUX Lite is the lightweight edition of RhinoLINUX - this edition has a light shell, LXDE, or XFce depending on the release, and a smaller set of applications, which is still complete and able to handle all common document, multimedia and internet filetypes. This latest release is compatible with Ubuntu's "saucy" software suite and this project's code name is "Saucy SUZIE". This edition, called the LITE EDITION as it is intended for lite users (who only need the basics) and for lite PCs (those that are now legacy and perhaps low on resources). However this edition features a full set of applications and utilities, and can also be happily run on more modern hardware. In this release: XFce Desktop Environment 4.10 (XFCE is a low-resource,modern looking desktop GUI with its own Window Manager, xfwin. UPSTREAM Components: Ubuntu 13.10 'Saucy Salamander' Linux Mint 16 'Petra' FEATURED APPLICATIONS: LibreOffice,Firefox,VirtualBox,VLC Media Player

LXCF (LXC Facility) generates LXC container of full OS environment.
LXCF (LXC Facility) is a tool that generates full OS environment as LXC virtual environment. http://lxcf.sourceforge.jp/index.html.en - It is based on libvirt-lxc - It can generate containers in a short time (in a few minutes each even if it is long). - It can manage a lot of containers. - It supports dynamic resource control of containers. - To use containers for a long term (a few years or more), you can update software on each container from the host. LXCF currently supports **Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Fedora 21, Fedora 20 , Fedora 19, CentOS 7 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 **.
