This is a C++ logging library implementation which is accepted to Boost. It aims for extensibility and flexibility while moderately affecting user's application performance. Since being accepted, the library is developed and distributed as a part of Boost. Please, visit www.boost.org for more info.
SIMD-accelerated libjpeg-compatible JPEG codec library
libjpeg-turbo is a JPEG image codec that uses SIMD instructions (MMX, SSE2, NEON, AltiVec) to accelerate baseline JPEG compression and decompression on x86, x86-64, ARM, and PowerPC systems. On such systems, libjpeg-turbo is generally 2-6x as fast as libjpeg, all else being equal. On other types of systems, libjpeg-turbo can still outperform libjpeg by a significant amount, by virtue of its highly-optimized Huffman coding routines. In many cases, the performance of libjpeg-turbo rivals that of proprietary high-speed JPEG codecs. libjpeg-turbo implements both the traditional libjpeg API as well as the less powerful but more straightforward TurboJPEG API. libjpeg-turbo also features colorspace extensions that allow it to compress from/decompress to 32-bit and big-endian pixel buffers (RGBX, XBGR, etc.), as well as a full-featured Java interface.
Cross-platform C++ libraries with a network/internet focus.
NOTE: Current source code as well as bugs/patches are on GitHub: https://github.com/pocoproject/poco/ C++ class libraries for network-centric, portable applications, integrated perfectly with the C++ Standard Library. Includes network protocols (Sockets, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, etc.), SQL database access and XML parsing. Licensed under Boost license.
Structured Storage .net component - pure C#
OpenMCDF is a 100% .net / C# component that allows developers to manipulate Microsoft Compound Document File Format for OLE structured storage. It supports read/write operations on streams and storages and traversal of structures tree. Development and issue tracking has moved to github platform at https://github.com/ironfede/openmcdf
HMG is a xBase development system based on Harbour compiler, MingW compiler and HMG library.
A cross-platform library that gives apps easy access to USB devices
Library to enable user space application programs to communicate with USB devices
This library allows you to easily send and receive MIDI messages on the Arduino serial port. The purpose of this library is not to make a big MIDI controller or synth out of an Arduino board, but to help you do it, the application remains yours. /!\ PLEASE NOTE /!\ Project is hosted on GitHub: https://github.com/FortySevenEffects/arduino_midi_library This SourceForge project is deprecated. Please download source/releases and post bug reports on GitHub. Documentation: http://arduinomidilib.fortyseveneffects.com
AudioGenie is a fast Library with many functions to analyze audiofiles (like Bitrate, Samplerate, Frames, Duration, Version-Number, etc) and for tagging. This DLL can read and modify audio tags like id3v1, id3v2, ape, lyrics and mp4, ogg, flac & more.
Automated integer factorization
YAFU (with assistance from other free software) uses the most powerful modern algorithms (and implementations of them) to factor input integers in a completely automated way. The automation within YAFU is state-of-the-art, combining factorization algorithms in an intelligent and adaptive methodology that minimizes the time to find the factors of arbitrary input integers. Most algorithm implementations are multi-threaded, allowing YAFU to fully utilize multi- or many-core processors (including SNFS, GNFS, SIQS, and ECM). YAFU is primarily a command-line driven tool. You provide the number to factor and, via screen output and log files, YAFU will provide you the factors. There is also an interactive environment similar to MATLAB or PARI/GP, where you can type commands and store results. YAFU is very customizable, through the optional use of many many command line parameters and a very capable expression interpreter.
A multimedia framework based on Qt and FFmpeg
QtAV is a cross-platform and high performance multimedia playback framework based on Qt and FFmpeg. Features: timeline preview, gpu decoding etc
PTCPas is a free, portable framebuffer library, written in Free Pascal. It allows low-level high-speed graphics access on multiple platforms.
C++ library for creating XLSX files for MS Excel 2007 and above.
This library represents XLSX files writer for Microsoft Excel 2007 and above. The main feature of this library is that it uses C++ standard file streams. On the one hand it results in almost unnoticeable memory and CPU resources consumption while processing (that may be very useful at saving a large data arrays), but on the other hand it makes unfeasible to edit data that were written. Hence, if using this library the structure of the future report should be known enough. The library is written in C++ with using STL functionality and based on the ZIP library (included), which has a free license: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/7530/Zip-Utils-clean-elegant-simple-C-Win32 This library is distributed under the terms of the zlib license: http://www.zlib.net/zlib_license.html
Win flex-bison is a port Flex & Bison tools to the Windows platform
Win flex-bison is a windows port the Flex (the fast lexical analyser) and Bison (GNU parser generator). win_flex based on Flex version 2.6.3 source code and win_bison based on Bison version 2.7 and they depend on system libraries only. Git repository: https://github.com/lexxmark/winflexbison UPDATE1: Bison version 3.0.4 available in Files section in win_flex_bison-2.5.7.zip package. UPDATE2: Now "winflexbison" available as package in Chocolatey (https://chocolatey.org/packages/winflexbison and https://chocolatey.org/packages/winflexbison3) UPDATE3: You can use VS custom build rules to simplify working with winflexbison in Visual Studio 2010 and upper (https://sourceforge.net/p/winflexbison/wiki/Visual%20Studio%20custom%20build%20rules/).
