Java utility classes that I've developed and want to carry from project to project without encumbrance. Others may find them useful. Releases are available from Maven Central: http://search.maven.org/#search%7Cga%7C1%7Cg%3A%22net.sf.kdgcommons%22
Java GUIs made easy!
QwicGUI, an easy-to-use open source Java class library developed by Impact Computing (http://www.impact-computing.com/), simplifies Java GUI development and offers out-of-the-box functionality not provided by the standard Java GUI classes.
Generate railroad diagrams from code or BNF. Generate BNF from code
RR Diagram allows to generate railroad diagrams (also called syntax diagrams) from code or from BNF notation. The output format is SVG which can be integrated to web pages and where rules can contain links. RR Diagram can also be used to generate BNF notation from a model.
A simple library for cloning java objects. And it can do it in three ways. The shallow copy, the serialized copy and the deep clone. It is useful if you need to detach an entity from an EntityManager.
A java configuration file and command line parser
Powerful rule-based command line parser and cofiguration reader. Options can be created using annotations or manually using a powerful API. Options are grouped into hierarchical namespace, allowing sophisticated inclusion, exclusion and grouping based on rules. Supports multiple dialects and automatic document creator such as typical usage and UNIX manpages. POSSIX, GNU, MSDOS command line parser dialects. XML, INI, PROPERTIES configuration file types. Database and general persistance or combination of all the above.
Multilock, Collections, Controllers, Delegates, Generators, Streams
Helps to develop and test event-based multi-threaded Java application. Because of method called as API-Evolution the Happy Java Library is fully downward compatible. The library contains following functionality: MultiLock, Parallel loops, Collections, Controllers, Generators, Delegates, Streams.
Java lib to compute (code) deps, SCCs, and cycles (Johnson algorithm).
Jadecy (Java Dependencies and Cycles) is a Java library to compute dependencies (elements depended on, or depending), strongly connected components, and cycles, in general directed graphs, or classes or packages dependencies graphs parsed from class files (major version <= 52, else does best effort). It uses Tarjan's algorithm for SCCs computation, and Johnson's algorithm for exhaustive cycles computation, with continuations instead of recursion, which allows to handle large graphs (< 2^31 vertices). Since version 1.1, can also compute shortest cycles covering all edges of SCCs. Usage from command line is also possible but with reduced flexibility (cf. JadecyMain class). API entry point for Java code dependencies is the Jadecy class, or DepUnit that makes use of it and is designed for unit tests. API entry point for general graph computations is the net.jadecy.graph package. Requires Java 5 or later. Also available on github: https://github.com/jeffhain/jadecy
This project is retired and moved into the Corn Gate project. Please switch to https://sourceforge.net/projects/corn-gate.corn.p/ link for the project. Simple Remoting is an alternative SOA library which uses JSON instead of XML as its messaging format. Converting popular java object types like POJO, Spring and EJB to services can be done within minutes without any code change on existing classes.
Provides data binding from various data sources to TestNG test methods
This project provides data binding from various data sources to TestNG test method parameters. Currently implemented is the binding from CSV, Properties, Text and XML files. Supported are test input parameters as well as test output parameters. Binding is provided for all primitive Java data types including Strings, lists of those, Java Beans, lists of Java Beans and enums. As the framework is plugin based support for new data sources can easily be added by implementing a new plugin. Please see the JavaDoc accessible on the project's website for detailed information. Please see the wiki for the maven coordinates if you want to add the TestNG Data Binding framework as a dependency to your maven project.
X-RIME is a open source project devoted to provide Hadoop based solution for large scale social network analysis.
Stand-alone Java library implementing parser/formatter/comparator/validator for JSON/XML-like text formats oriented on JSON-like object model (list, map, scalar + reflection). Library is designed to maximize adaptivity via set of extendable modules.
State machines for Java, FSM.
AnotherFSM is yet another implementation of state machines, a library for Java programming language.
Ant task that generates a Java class (source code) with constants. All values are provided from Ant constants or properties. It's normally used to provide build details to a Java application.
Bijoux is a small, extendable configuration language and interpreter for Java, implemented in XML. It can be incorporated in a Java application to provide more configuration options than are possible with fixed-semantic configuration schemes.
Capon is a fault-tolerant Java scheduler.
REST API for Apache Tomcat Context Manager and Host Manager. Admins can list all ctx, hosts, add-remove ctx and hosts , reload ctx from this rest API. The distribution file includes reference to rest methods available and steps to install this app.
C++ Benchmarking Library
This project is now maintained at GitHub: https://github.com/DigitalInBlue/Celero Celero is a cross-platform open source C++ benchmarking library. Written with an API similar to Google Test, Celero utilizes C++11 features, offers tested benchmarking capabilities with microsecond precision, baselining, fixtures, and easy test setup. Use the baseline feature to measure/benchmark algorithm performance against a known case to more accurately rate performance of solutions.
An IDE for developing mods for the game Sid Meiers' Civilization IV Beyond the Sword. Including a library for reading and editing Civilization data.
A cron expression parser.
Curl External Libraries -- a Curl Open Source project. This project contains libraries for use with the Curl platform
A library for applying Data Driven Testing on Android
Dasein Utilities is a set of Java utilities for simplifying certain Java tasks. It's a necessary component to most Dasein projects.
This is an ALPHA version - the RELEASE version is now on github - https://github.com/fimtra/datafission.
Components to generate a flex (spark) form dynamically
Proof of concept project to investigate the potential to generate Flex forms from a dynamic (possibly externalised) source to cut development time building common form functionality. I've previously used 'control' classes to allow non technical users to configure form validation parameters in an external XML file, however the form & model still required development time. As an extension of the form class to function more like a SkinnableDataComponent the form items become 'ItemRenderers' containing typical inputs. Bi-directional binding is maintained by introducing a DynamicModel class which is also capable of tracking dirtied fields & performing validation.
