base64 RFC1113 Vanilla ANSI-C Code for a portable stand-alone file encode/decode utility. In 2001, I asked people to 'Help me break it!' Since then, 10+years later, the code remains unbroken and is in wide production use world-wide. It has been ported to all major architectures and been used as a template for ports to different computer and human languages. This is very mature and stable code. Although this comes from a project that was constrained by export controls and is used in secure systems, it is not security code per-se. I have therefore altered the 'Export Controls' category.
C library for reading/writing values from/to Excel .xlsx files.
Cross-platform C library for reading values from and writing values to .xlsx files. XLSX I/O aims to provide a C library for reading and writing .xlsx files. The .xlsx file format is the native format used by Microsoft(R) Excel(TM) since version 2007. The library was written with the following goals in mind: - primary focus on data values organized in tables, on not layout or graphics - written in standard C, but allows being used by C++ - simple interface - small footprint - portable across different platforms (Windows, *nix) - minimal dependancies: only depends on expat (only for reading) and libzip (which in turn depends on zlib) - separate library for reading and writing .xlsx files Also includes command line tools to convert between .xslx and CSV files.
FSP - File Service Protocol. FSP is lightweight UDP based protocol for transferring files. It is designed for anonymous transfers over unreliable networks.
C library defining string type and designed for string manipulation
The stringlib.h library by GreenApple allows easy string manipulation in C language by defining the type 'string' (or '_string') and providing several functions to easily operate with them. All allocation is done automatically, unallocation is done by calling the function 'string_delete(string*)'. Full documentation is present on the library header file.
Extract the TLD of any, world wide, URI.
The libtld is used to extract the TLD from any URI from anywhere in the world. The library recognizes all TLDs, whatever the number of levels the TLD includes (i.e. .com has one, .au has up to 4 such as .schools.nsw.edu.au) this library will be capable of extracting it. The library is for C, C++, and PHP.
RunAWK is a small wrapper for AWK interpreter that helps write standalone programs in AWK. It provides support for modules and other powerful features. It comes with dozens of modules which provide efficient means for handling command line options, powerful functions for manipulating strings and arrays as well as sorting, mathematical, tmpfile, braceexpand functions and a lot of others.
file packing library with zlib compression & tea encryption
Portable C library for proxy client support using standard SOCKETs.
Cross-platform C library to establish TCP connections using a proxy. Supports different connection methods: - no proxy (optionally allowing to bind to a local address and/or port) - HTTP proxy: only CONNECT method, only without authentication or basic authentication - SOCKS4: without IDENT functionality - SOCKS5 (RFC 1928): only without authentication or username/password Features: - Currently only support IPv4 TCP connections. - Returns a standard operating system SOCKET that can be manipulated by standard operating system functions like send() and recv(). - Supports daisy-chaining multiple proxies. - Can also be used for direct connections (without proxy) optionally binding to a local address and/or port.
A DirectX based graphics/physics engine
As of now, an independently developed graphics/physics engine for use with DirectX9/DirectX11 and C++. I'm only working on this during my free time, so it will not be updated too often unless I have something major to add to it. Outside insight would be appreciated.
Ethernet stack implementation (currently based on the ENC28J60)
A callback handler based ethernet stack implementation optimized for AVR microcontrollers. For now, the only controller supported is the ENC28J60. However it is easy to integrate different controllers as the interface your driver has to provide is fairly simple. Developed by the hobbyist programmers and electrical engineering students Niklas Fritz and Alexander Gladis
Libraries for CPC game development under z88dk and SDCC
A library for stereoscopic rendering with OpenGL
The libgls library allows stereoscopic rendering with OpenGL, without requiring hardware support for quad-buffered stereo. Many stereoscopic display modes are supported, from anaglyph glasses to various types of 3D TVs and stereoscopic displays.
Generic Memoization Library for C
A function memoization library for C, meant to make caching the values of functions relatively straightforward and simple. Allows memoization of functions to different contexts, so that sets of memoization caches can be cleared separately. Currently, this has only been tested with the GNU C compiler and has limited test coverage, so it is considered as Beta. If anyone wishes to contribute bugfixes, cross-compiler portability extensions, or other enhacements please feel free to contact via PM.
DIGImend - digitizer mending. Improving Linux support for generic graphics tablets.
Embedded C Standard Template Library
The Embedded C Standard Template Library (ECSTL) is a software library for the C programming language. It is a clone of the C++ STL for embedded systems without using the heap (malloc/free functions).
A set of functions to Interface EGL to SDL/RAW framebuffers
Paul Thomas's Performance Tuned SSH, aka PTssh. A cross-platform, high-performance, multi-threaded, thread-safe library implementing the SSH2 protocol and SFTP version 3.
Portable cross-platform audio I/O library
This SourceForge project is a stub. The project is currently hosted at Assembla. Official website: http://www.portaudio.com PortAudio development resources (SVN, Issue Tracking, Wiki) at Assembla: http://www.assembla.com/spaces/portaudio/ PortAudio is a free, cross-platform, open-source, audio I/O library. It lets you write simple audio programs in 'C' or C++ that will compile and run on many platforms including Windows, Macintosh OS X, and Unix (OSS/ALSA). It is intended to promote the exchange of audio software between developers on different platforms. Many applications use PortAudio for Audio I/O. PortAudio provides a very simple API for recording and/or playing sound using a simple callback function or a blocking read/write interface. Example programs are included that play sine waves, process audio input (guitar fuzz), record and playback audio, list

A simple, small, cross platform GUI library in plain C89
SGUI is a small, simple, cross platform GUI library written in plain C89. It has a set of widgets, dialogs and supports OpenGL and Direct3D context creation, also including embedded rendering widgets within a window. SGUI has so far been successfully tested on various GNU/Linux distros on x86 and x86_64, as well as Windose operating systems from Windows 98 up to Windows 7.

Simple platform independent library for comparing strings against the wildcard masks.
WebSocket library written in C.
Wslay is a WebSocket library written in C. It implements the protocol version 13 described in RFC 6455. This library offers 2 levels of API: event-based API and frame-based low-level API. For event-based API, it is suitable for non-blocking reactor pattern style. You can set callbacks in various events. For frame-based API, you can send WebSocket frame directly. Wslay only supports data transfer part of WebSocket protocol and does not perform opening handshake in HTTP. Wslay does not perform any I/O operations for its own. Instead, it offers callbacks for them. This makes Wslay independent on any I/O frameworks, SSL, sockets, etc. This makes Wslay protable across various platforms and the application authors can choose freely I/O frameworks.
